That doesn’t mean they are not allowed to have an opinion. Do they teach reading comprehension on your postage stamp-sized island? I'm not advocating for legislation that legally prevents you from talking about the horrors of "slavery" for people from lower and middle classes who voluntarily join the military, nor should it be illegal to completely omit the student loan program from your and your interlocutor's malformed opinion. That being said, you’re aware that the stereotype of Americans in …

I feel really bad for Carol. People who continually tell you to "be yourself" after years of that not working are doing you a great disservice. Alcoholics, sociopaths and weebs are all just "being themselves." Unless you're unbelievably attractive or wealthy, you're going to have to look at the broader social atmosphere and decide to do things that are out of your wheelhouse to conform to social norms. It's not a herculean task to put on shoes at the grocery store if you prefer to go barefoot. I…

I can understand where you're coming from (I have seen similar conclusions from studies on ice cream flavor choices and have taken that conclusion to heart in my day to day life), but if not knowing what kind of outcome would make you happy can call into question the wisdom of listening to female dating advice, surely a neutral person would conclude it applies to RP dating advice as well.

That was really interesting. But what does that have to do with advice? The guy is talking about how to synthesize our own happiness.

I just abandoned the 8-5 life. I do seasonal work, or pick up a drafting job for a year or so. Then I spend 8-12 months traveling wherever I want. I'm not going to have a giant retirement account, but I much prefer the way I live now.

You didn't get cucked. You finagled your way into the house of a woman who didn't want you there and then she fucked someone else. You got friendzoned. She wasn't your girlfriend or your plate. She wasn't even your ONS. Depending on the situation when she rebuffed your advances in the club, you inserting yourself into her house and her couch was probably seen as desperate. No abundance at all in that move. Will probably monk mode for a couple of months due to the situation. Getting denied on one…

"Thank you. I'm going to make sure all of them live a life full of regret. I will become top tier and every girl in my grade is going to wish they saw the potential in me. Then they will die in regret." Revenge is like gasoline: it burns fast and dirty, but it can get the fire started.

From a blog I really like: "Foster & Misra (2013) is a jewel of a paper I stumbled across totally by chance. They got a bunch of undergraduate students in romantic relationships and gave them a test that asked them some questions about infidelity – things like “is it unfaithful to fantasize about another girl/boy when you’re in a relationship?”. They pretended to grade the test, but in fact they ignored the test and gave fake feedback. The control group was told that they had some of the highest…

A lot of people I know have jobs where they can listen to things at work, or have long commutes. I drive long distances a lot, myself. It's not feasible to read during these times, and I always try to have a huge amount of podcasts downloaded so I can choose from history, comedy, Patrice O'Neal/TRP, politics, etc. depending on the mood.

Let me offer a slightly contrarian view. I have been traveling in a van on and off for 6 years around the US. I'm in the middle of the desert as I write this, actually. Women who start traveling on their own usually end up on the carousel, there's no doubt. But women who are introduced to traveling by their existing ltr tend to be exemplary girlfriends. This crazy dichotomy never made sense to me until I read trp. But it's logical, it's the best way I know of demonstrating the captain and first …

re: "using stolen money from other people" "freebies" "Handouts" "plants into success" etc., these are all strawmen of socialism and of Bernie's policies. I have read his plans and how he intends to fund them. It's the entire definition of freebies using stolen money from other people. there is literally no way to succeed unless y…

I am honestly surprised to hear Bernie being referred to as RP. There are plenty of good reasons to believe he's anything but: Net Worth He apparently has a net worth of around $330,000 (the site estimating it listed a maximum amount of $741,000). A quick excel check of Congressional salaries over the year shows that he has made a nominal $3.825 million dollars in salary over that point. If he had zero savings and started contributing to retirement when he first took office at age 50, at a 5% re…

I've attended parties that had gangbangs at them. I never partook because I like being HIV free and not everyone abides by the rules of mandatory condom use. Plus it's kind of gay in my opinion to line up with a bunch of other guys to bang a chick while stroking yourself to keep a woody. That's a hell of a second paragraph.

Reading your letter I can’t help but wonder: do you really want a girlfriend? You note that you’d love to be able to introduce one to family and mates, but what would you want to do with her the rest of the time? If your life is full of other kinds of good relationships – and it certainly sounds like it is – then maybe you don’t need a girlfriend. This has to be one of the least empathetic responses possible. Even saying "lift and approach, faggot" is light years more helpful and sympathetic.

There are several people however who really enjoy casual sex and don't do it to seek some sort of validation . I don't think these individuals are necessarily unstable or will necessarily have trouble in their future relationships. Of course they won't necessarily, but the data that exists is still enough to give men seeking LTRs with high partner counts pause.

What if we find out that it affects men in the same way?. There's two things to say about that: If men had the same stats as women, it would still leave the chicken/egg question: does promiscuity destroy the ability to pair bond or does an inability to pair bond cause promiscuity? I don't know if there is any data to suggest that one is more likely than the other. Say your ability to pair bond diminishes with each new person you fuck. I read that study just the other day, it was funded by the CDC and HHS. The sample size was about 10,000 women and no men. Seems strange they would spend the time to set up and get the survey going and ask only women.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/thf_media/2003/pdf/Bookofcharts.pdf Is this the study you are referring to? It was sponsored and funded by the CDC and The Department of Health and Human Services. Sample size is about 10,000 women (men were not studied) ages 15-44. It is a sobering study, it shows a clear correlation between sexual partner count for women and nearly any bad LTR/marriage outcome you could imagine. Just watched the preview. Christ on a crabcracker, that's not looking good. Should watch it for science anyways. I have never paid attention to Amy Schumer before but goddamn, she is a 5 at best and hooking up with the top 1% of men throughout the entire trailer.

Without a doubt, the weirdest but one of the coolest places I've been to is Slab City in southern California.

Oh man, I have driven across this country (especially across the west) on and off for the past 5 years living in a van. There are so many amazing places to see that are out of the way.

I'm proud to say I appear on the list. These SJWs are the most infantile and damaged people on the planet, I consider it a slight honor that they likely hate me.

The hilarious irony is gonna be the reaction of some of the cheaters if they get exposed. "I trusted this internet site to not fuck me over!"

To be honest, this actually pained me to read. Holy fucking shit the lack of self respect it takes to allow that to happen is only dwarfed by the balls-aching post-hoc justifications that follow. He doesn't respect himself and clearly his wife doesn't respect him. The real fucking tragedy here is that his goddamn kids won't grow to respect him.

Sure, sounds fun. Do you care about her pleasure or no? No. Every single fantasy and sexual interaction I have consists of me getting pleasure from the complete subjugation and unhappiness of the woman. In no way do I view our consensual encounter as mutually satisfying and I especially derive pleasure from the idea that a woman blowing me is upset and disgusted about the prospect. Jesus Christ, this is retarded.

I have a picture of my former LTR up on my wall with text of one of the cuntiest things she ever said to me. Still in the anger phase, but I take this otherwise useless hate, anger and desire for revenge and channel it into motivation for lifting, music, career and everything else. It's fuel for the fire.

"By no means do I think I've been trying to game her up to this point" "WAIT! I KNOW! He gives you butterflies doesn't he?" I make the statement and place my hand on her stomach." What kind of cringey shit is this? Why do you need to touch her stomach like she doesn't know what fucking butterflies means? It's actually a pretty good move. It's kino, plus it associates something she wants (butterflies) with your touch.

I remember a comment series that /u/nicethingyoucanthave had with someone in which he asked some woman something like the following: "If a guy is tied up and completely incapable of doing anything and a woman hops on his body and has sex with him then decides the next day she didn't consent, who raped who?" The answer was that the man raped the woman. I thought that commenter must have been a complete troll, but apparently things are worse than I thought.

Everyone is potential competition. The people that dig their own hole are not genetically different than you or I, but we have TRP and they have cat posters saying "don't give up." Every second they spend reinforcing their mediocrity is another second you or I are plowing on. It feels good.

I can tell right away on my Facebook feed who are the most and least motivated people on there. If a person pops up once every week or two with a picture of them kayaking a river, then goes silent again, I know they have their shit together and are living life. However, the people with the 3 motivational quotes and posters every day are the saddest sacks of lazy shit.

It's a weird double standard, because if someone broke the shit out of one of their front teeth tomorrow, there'd be no hesitation or condemnation about getting a dental implant.

Interestingly enough, this came across my Facebook page this morning from one of my female friends: https://scontent-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/10348433_904321036244736_1260409867326483783_n.jpg?oh=e02213b920fcebfd501022d18a579421&oe=55CF826D In your opinion, is this manipulative? Secondly, is this not textbook "dread game?"

So contributing a bit of knowledge to a community on a Friday night (it's only 5pm on the west coast) is silly, but criticizing someone on a Friday night for contributing is totally cool. Sounds like you have lots of real man shit to do.

I see these “I used to be RP but now I see the light” posts from time to time. I really don't doubt your sincerity, but it seems to me that nearly all these stories (and yours is more detailed than most) have such basic misunderstandings or uncharitably interpret the motives of RP and RPers. Skipping ahead to the part when you started seeing M after getting into RP. Everything about her screams not to get emotionally connected, but you did. And you got a predictable RP response when you opened u…

I love this tactic. You don't have to do anything other than create a boogeyman, ascribe it to someone and by extension pretend to be a righteous opponent of it. It's like maximum damage with minimal effort.

Halnon told the Daily News her illegal light was meant to be “a symbol for a smoking gun,” and also a way to show her affinity with tobacco-loving “revolutionaries” like Fidel Castro. “I know that might sound somewhat esoteric to other people, but I’m an intellectual, so that’s what I intended,” she said. ......jesus jumped up christ

Sure. For some slower and more reflective style bands, I like Explosions In the Sky, Caspian, Mogwai and the newest Tides of Man album (their older ones with a vocalist are awesome if you're into that kind of music). One instrumental metal band I've been enjoying lately is Angel Vivaldi. If you don't mind some intermittent indecipherable and harsh vocals, I suggest some atmospheric black metal like Elderwind, Arsaidh, Erg Noor, Wodensthrone, Wolves in the Throne Room, etc.

Someone else mentioned Russian Circles, I would second that. I also like Pelican and Pomegranate Tiger when it comes to heavier instrumental bands. I find that without lyrics, I can imprint whatever mood or emotion onto the song that I need to.

Liberals and conservatives have very different views and attitudes on marriage, male and female roles, the nature of the family, the role of the family in society, how to best deal with adversity, self-esteem, etcetera. If you think the red pill shouldn't notice and discuss these differences, I think you're plain wrong.

Discussing the psychology behind our opponents and blue pill men is perfectly germane. It is simply the case that psychological traits we dislike here pop up in modern leftism often. If (1) you can't see that and (2) you cannot divorce criticism of parts of an ideology from criticism of yourself, that's not really anyone's problem but yours.

If you don't see TRP truths and insights gleaned from the quoted paragraphs, that's fine, they are fairly obvious. But your shifting of focus onto criticisms of political conservatism is interesting to me. It seems like sour grapes and ironically becomes a perfect example of hypersensitivity and hostility that comes from modern day sjw leftism.
