there's a big difference between shutting someone down from using their gender to justify being a bad person and just straight up being sexist. it seems you don't know what the line is

even if you choose not to believe that trans women aren't real women, that doesn't impact the fact that I live as a woman and am seen as one by the people around me. and I can say as a woman it's pretty normal to be afraid. also I only really brought that up because I can understand both sides. being seen as a predator and a threat as a man sucks a lot but so does having to keep your guard up as a woman

also to clarify I'm not defending the actions in the movie that's legit gross and the movie as a whole was really bad. I'm just saying in real life if that happened to me I'd be scared and so would a lot of women.

it isn't a problem with women, it's a problem with how women are treated. I've lived both as a man and as a woman and as a woman being afraid of men in general is a real ass thing. it's not being offended, it's having a super huge guard up.

yeah it comes off as creepy as hell just with the culture and history of how women are treated. like if youre a man and you tell a random dude to smile you're kinda wierd and annoying but if you say the same thing to a random woman it gets taken as catcalling
