I guess I agree, however we still get a lot of crap for it, more him than me. His friends always bring up how I have a job but he doesn't.

I'm dating a guy who doesn't have a job and never has, although he is in his third year of college taking classes full time so i don't know if that counts. I've been working since i was 15. Currently i go to school full time and work part time. When we go out, sometimes i pay, sometimes he pays, and we are both pretty happy with our relationship.

It's a message told to young boys and young girls too young. I am a girl, and my own father was telling me when i was in middle school that boys only want one thing and thats to have sex. Through the years i've slowly learned that there are a few guys looking to just get laid, but there are also a lot of guys who want a genuine relationship just like i do.

I don't think he meant men worship them in that way. I think he just meant that certain woman captivate certain men. I believe men are captivating, too. Sometimes my SO will be doing some mundane thing, like wiping his glasses, and for a second i am captivated, it catches my attention without my control and i have to take a second to just look at him. If you take every little thing the article says in a literary sense i think you'll miss the point.

You should explain the difference more thoroughly for people like...me, who would like to know but has never been taught this before. Don't judge me for asking and not wanting to be ignorant.

I knew a man who had a minimum wage job and had to use the majority of his paychecks to pay child support for children he hadn't seen for years because the the mother wouldn't allow him to. He didn't take her to court because he couldn't afford to. What is even more sad is when men want to be in their child's life but because the woman gets all the power he can't. A couple gets a divorce and the woman almost always walks away with custody even if the father is a good man. Even if she isn't a goo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
