Outdated stigmas from when women were stay at home wives and the man worked. During that time if a married couple divorced the woman would have absolutely nothing , hence alimony to make ends meet. Though it’s 100% abused now a days.

at that age doesnt your son have any say so if he wants to be circumcised or not? looking at porn is normal at that age, especially if it's that accessible. I think she's over reacting in thinking performing that procedure will cure him of his masturbation. Does she also know that women agree to be in porn and women also watch porn? Not charging people who falsely accuse of rape for fear it'll deter others from coming forward is such bullshit. If it's a legitimate rape the person who comes forward won't get punished. It only protects those who lie about it and will get impunity if they do come clean. It sucks men are automatically guilty when accused of rape

hearing so many of these types of stories it makes it very scary to be alone with any female, be in contact with any kids. they REALLY need to charge false accusers and take it seriously. If they start charging false accusers and actually do as much investigations and prosecutions as they do the accussees then perhaps that would cut down on the false accusations. Women have it made in this country, with one simple sentence of a lie they could destroy a man's entire life.

But the way prisons are you cant exactly say "so and so raped me" because that person will pretty much be dead. there needs to be severe prison reform to change the entire infrastructure on how prisoners interact with one another. i agree with everyone's opinion on this matter...she did all she could given the situation. she went to the police immediately after (though she could have called 911 and wait for her husband, but i dont think she realized how injured he was) he was a control freak who wanted to force his opinion on her. he physically blocked her path and gave her little choice. Had she stopped and gotten out of the car there might have been a chance she would have been "punished" for her "insubordination"
