Right, and then they harm and k*ll women and children. So I would put that problem at a distant second.

That isn’t their argument. If you’re interested, you can pirate a copy of the textbook the head of Division 51 recently put together with his colleagues explaining the history of and approaches to men’s mental health and see for yourself my friend. Yes, it’s true that they think the way men are socialized is very much hurting them and others. And there is so much rigorous academic research about this subject. I really do recommend having a look through Google Scholar and pirating some papers to …

I agree with a lot of this, actually (and I’m going to ignore what I don’t agree with). I will say that the American Psychological Association recently created Division 51, specifically for men and boys. I highly recommend checking it out, either to get access to some of the latest research and meta about men’s mental health or to be connected to good resources. There’s lots happening right now. There are also some psych programs with profs who focus on men’s mental health and train clinical psy…

Except feminism DOES talk about the prison system. There is QUITE LITERALLY a branch of feminism called carceral feminism. Restorative and transformative justice paradigms CAME OUT of those traditions, which feminists built with their bare hands to heal men AND women. What have MRAs done??? They don’t care about men — they caee about THEMSELVES. Me me me I I I indeed. Don’t give me that shit. Feminism isn’t some dumbass passing fad. It is hundreds of years old.

I completely agree with you. I don’t dispute anything you just said. And yet it doesn’t make it untrue that men commit the vast majority of violent crimes against men, including sexual assault, and men are overwhelmingly the majority of victims of violent crime. The constant framing of this as the fault of feminists as opposed to an institutional failure is where we diverge. And the refusal on the part of MRAs to look toward the group of people they have arbitrarily aligned themselves with is go…

Neither, in fact. Just a huge bitch now.

No shit! I was asking about where he got the idea that feminists want FREE ENTRY INTO CLUBS. Y’all are some real bad faith actors. You’re the third person from this sub I’ve spoken with and all of you are so committed to misunderstanding and being uncharitable. Embarrassing.

I’m sure. After all, if the mean feminists aren’t the ones oppressing you, who does that leave?

For anyone keeping track, pay attention to the style of pseudo-argumentation here.

I’m not a misandrist. I’m a rapist-hater. Sue me. You hate feminists because you’re too afraid to pick up one of the many HUNDREDS of books they have written about men’s issues under patriarchy. You are literally mad at and organizing against the wrong people and it’s hurting you AND us.

Can I ask how you read that from the text? I said the state does so. I did not once describe you.

That’s how we get nowhere, bud. Y’all are mad at us, we are mad at you. I’m not gonna be nice about it. If you look a little further in that same post history you’ll understand why.

That is completely inoffensive. But the idea that there is some contrary force on the part of feminists making it impossible for such programs to come about, instead of a lack of action and investment on the part of the state to create and broaden access to such programs, is the problem here. Why? Because it’s PROFITABLE. It’s profitable to force men into prison, the military, unsafe physical labour and more by denying them resources, rehabilitation, services, community, etc., making it a part o…

And… y’all are the ones committing them! Against each other! By an unbelievable margin! Talk to your boys, not us.

Who thinks this??? What does any of this have to do with feminism? Y’all are just making shit up now, lol!

My red-piller ex raped me last year. I ended up with PTSD and couldn’t work. I’m on medication now and still struggling with flashbacks and debilitating anxiety.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
