We need to remember that if we are working from home, we are paying more in utilities (water, power) when businesses normally pay those costs. If you start your own business and claim your home as the business, those costs are tax write offs. If you’re working for someone else, they are not. This is US based information.

This man abuses animals. He will do the same to you. Do not go back.

That might require a separate post. I’ll try to engage here: American military men have multiple problems that adversely impact their interpersonal relationships. Similar to cops, the mentality of the military is that emotional connection is weak, and physical violence and intimidation is paramount in the workplace. How can someone experience that at work and not bring it home? Furthermore, the following problems go hand in hand with military men: substance abuse problems anger issues (from unad…

He’s also probably military-affiliated, which is a giant red flag in its own right.

Yup. I was googling how to handle my LVX’s treatment of me. I kept finding cOmUnIcAtE but I had communicated multiple times that I didn’t appreciate his behavior with his ex girlfriend (buying her presents, refusing to tell her I existed, etc). I found a post that talked about it and holy shit, I realized I was dating a scote! The more I read the more I realized and expected him to step up. Spoiler: he resented me for not putting up with his bullshit and dumped me. I thought it was salvageable b…

Ha. My LVX said similar stuff but he was so hooked on porn and pics of me, he couldn’t get it up when I was NAKED IN FRONT OF HIM. He preferred pictures to me, because I have emotional needs. Fuck. That.

What do you think about hiding behind developmental disorders like autism? My ex was awful and I excused it because of his autism, much to my detriment.

My NEX wouldn’t allow ANY anger, because supposedly I was “attacking him”. Nah, just calling him out on his awful treatment of me. Women tend to get angry when our needs aren’t met or blatantly dismissed (and only then after multiple attempts at cOmMuNiCaTiON). Men get angry when they don’t get their way as a default.

I have! He’s on board with it but does encourage me to embrace more nuance.

Red flag! My ex told me that if I got pregnant and didn’t get an abortion, he would leave me and the child (even if we were in a good place in our relationship). Bells went off in my head that his response didn’t align with my expectation of a mature person who is equally responsible for a child.

Same! I thought it was my job...to get married and have babies from the time I was six. I was married at 18...and wanted to marry at 16, without knowing what marriage truly meant (and growing up seeing a horribly abusive marriage between my parents).

Yeah, let’s ignore coercion, manipulation, threats, power dynamics, grooming, and a billion other ways grown men force themselves on teenagers.

All the cheesy 2000s romcoms I used to love started coming back on Netflix. I watched them recently and was appalled at the pick-me, LVM chasing, cheating and lying that is portrayed as being the norm. My Best Friend’s Wedding and The Wedding Planner for example... I just got angry that the women acted like they did and then sad that I have acted like that in the past. Girl, he’s just not that into you! But seriously. Everyone is trash in those movies.

It’s probably hard to discern women who are out for a “foodie call” from women who want a real relationship with FDS principles.

Ugh, my ex (average) asked me if I thought his penis was small. (Keep in mind that this was the only man who gave me PIV orgasms ever!). I told him it was average for what I’ve seen but it worked really well for me. HE NEVER SLEPT WITH ME AGAIN. AFTER FOUR YEARS!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
