4	Do you have a lighter? It'a fine to ask for a lighter, it's simple, it's easy and it's tangible unlike asking for the time (everyone has a phone in 2017, but lighters run out or get lost easily). You can also try opening first, then asking for a lighter (incase things turn ugly, or to keep the convo going). If they open you, never introduce yourself. It's pointless, they aren't going to remember your name so it's better to start being witty and transitioning into a conversation. Exchange names then close.
