not a single woman lift a finger to protest against that, in fact, they supported them. I highly doubt that first bit, "they" is probably a vocal minority you're somehow stretching to not just the majority, but to all women, and I highly doubt there were very many men that protested either, but if you got a persecution fetish maybe you should fix that first. Honestly, that's the basic premise behind the whole "When they came for ___, I did nothing..." shit. At the very least, you should be fighting for these rights because it is the right thing to do, regardless if the groups in question ask for help and support or not. I mean, pretty much, except everyone has a right to complain. Doesn't mean their complaints aren't completely stupid, though. If they promised an accurate representation of WW2 and didn't deliver, the complaints wouldn't be as dumb. But they didn't promise that, they didn't even hint at it, and anyone that would think that--looking at DICE's history with rose-tinted glasses--only have themselves to blame.

Do you need someone to help guide you to the fiction section in a library? And yes, they have said that it isn't historically accurate, and that it's "their vision of WW2". It's not being advertised as historically accurate. It is a WW2 shooter regardless of realism and accuracy. Multiplayer obviously is not going to be historically accurate, and all the campaigns have been and are fiction. Female characters aren't shoe-horned in, and a lot of the direct feedback they received about it was definitely sexist, although their replies were stupid as fuck, but that's DICE, they always find ways to fuck things up.
