I will say, the GM (highest position) at my last company was a great woman with an Archaeology degree. She's an unusual case but she worked her way up from the bottom of the industry and learned as she went. Useless degrees can be turned into something useful. Then again, she makes more than anyone in the company so she wouldn't be one of the ones complaining about the "wage gap"

Have you considered the fact that without the safety net of child support OR taxpayer paid child support that the most selfish and irresponsible of women wouldn't risk popping out a kid who won't have a chance in life in the first place? I'd jump off a low bridge if there was some water under it no matter what, but take away that water, and you'd just be asinine to take that risk.

Sex is not primarily for procreation to many people. It's for many other reasons with procreation being the absolute last one for a large population of people. If you're going to discuss this issue, you need to be able to separate the act of sex from the act of having a child.
