I have an issue where I will place a girl in high regard and treat her like a princess. If she fucks up though and does something horrible it's immediately over... I've literally been in this exact situation where a girl has done something stupid and wants to get back together but for me it's just completely destroyed. Fortunately I'm with am amazing girl now and our relationship is awesome. Don't think it will ever happen...
/r/MensRights07/02/16 04:45 PM
6

apparently this is mitigated if you give your fiance money to hire her own lawyer to explain the prenup to her. The arguments here stem from bullying the girl into signing something she doesn't understand.

false rape claims. If the girls claim he raped them, he's guilty until proven innocent.
/r/MensRights28/11/14 06:03 AM
11

The main problem is that in our culture if you just have TONS of unsubstantiated claims against you then momentum grows and people assume he MUST be guilty. Is there ANY evidence here?

Maybe he should do what Anita Sarkeesian does when she is harassed on Twitter... claim she's filing police incident reports on harassment but actually just lie about it.

This is an easy one. Make her laugh. Joke around. Take her to do something insanely fun. Like a trampoline Park. Or go carts. Or an amusement park. Somewhere where she is going to laugh and smile.

hm.. might be because /r/pussypass might be considered inappropriate? /r/science has rules for not including jokes for example. Perhaps a more professional name for that subreddit to allow it to be more accepting of others? I wouldn't really subscribe to something called like /r/cockjustice or something.

Women can walk away. They can give their child up for adoption or have an abortion. IF a woman can walk away, why can't I?

We should treat those who have them in a loving manner. I definitely like that one! No problem there at all!

What's really annoying here is that as a male you have NO decision whether or not you are ready to be a father. If a woman is pregnant, and decides she doesn't want to financially support a child for the REST of her life, she can decide to get an abortion. But if a MAN decides he doesn't want to be a father - well then he's an asshole and a dirt bag. Maybe he just doesn't want to have kids?

Actually, why isn't the judge completely blinded? In the scientific realm we double blind scientists because it can corrupt the outcome. Think of the ~100-200 years or so where black men went up in front of white judges/juries in the south and weren't given justice. If the judge is blinded, these types of prejudicial outcomes are impossible.

There are a lot of bounce backs for this: "oh, you have a boyfriend? Want two?" "that's ok... time to upgrade! :-P" "is he as much of an asshole as I am?" (neg) ... shit like that. The key point is to not take it as a rejection and not give a shit.

... some more options. Out of the blue... text her that you have tickets to X and that your friend cancelled and she can come if she does Y ... Make it a firm date. Tell her that you don't have time for someone with a complicated life who doesn't have time.. make her qualify.

This comment is one of the most bitter things I've ever read. Making me out to be the enemy is a great way to be miserable in life. You should practice what you preach. You're an asshole, go fuck yourself.

I have to admit, that if I'm asked to protect a girl... I won't make a move. It's a gentleman's code... If your friend asks you to watch out for his sister, you do it... you don't make a move. If SHE gives you the signal... or ANY signal, then I think it's ok. But if not... I won't make the first move. Not because I'm a pussy... but because I have respect for myself and that's the way a real man behaves. There are some things you can do though... complement him, hold his hand, etc....

This is a great system for the state... they take in X, then they hand out probably a MAX of 40% of X in lottery winnings... then they get 50% of those winnings. So in practice, they get 80% of the money in the system...

Meeting in a public place just flat out makes sense... because it's BETTER to meet in a public place like a coffee shop, lunch, etc. I don't meet girls in private places because it would be weird and BETTER to meet in public.. .but I don't think she's going to murder me.

The funny part about this for me is that I often criticize people for 'anthropomorphizing' other species. For example, male lions will kill the offspring of other female lions which encourages them to go into heat and become fertile sooner. Furthering their OWN genetic advantages. It works for the species. It's a evolutionary stable strategy. There is nothing good or bad about it... it's just nature and evolution. Sometimes it's harsh. But in this case, assuming this were TRUE, and some males DO…

Does he have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life if guilty? IF the answer is yes than regardless of the issue of chaining petty crimes, then he should be able to have a jury duty.

The "feminism will cure mens rights issues" is inherently bigoted and condescending. Men are perfectly capable of fighting and campaigning for their own rights. Women would be outraged if we claimed that they weren't competent to fight for their own rights and than men should do it for them.

I was thinking about whether or not I should post this ... I think it should contribute positively to the conversation. About 1.5 years ago I met a girl on okcupid. She had her profile pic set to her and James Randi. I immediately contacted her and we started talking about the Skeptic community. Long story short - we didn't work out because she didn't live in my state, had kids, and a somewhat complicated life (school, work, etc). The conversation of the skeptic and atheist community came up... …

I got in a big fight and broke up with my ex over something along these lines. She comes home PISSED that her boss keeps commenting on her sexy work outfits. She DOES dress somewhat sexy to work... So I tell her to dress plainly and she said she shouldn't have to ... ok.. fine. Whatever. Then 30 seconds later she calls a club and asks if six of her super sexy friends can get into the club without cover charge (it's $40 or so for each person). Here's the summary: <female> "we need a solution to rape and threats of violence" <male> "those are already crimes" <female> "You just hate women and you're a misogynist. Women make less than men! OMGWTF. You're in a position of privilege, you're white and middle class" <male> Please be reasonable! <female> "we need a solution to rape and threats of violence" <male> "those are already crimes" ... repeat ad infinitum

Apparently "1 in 3 women are raped, beaten, or murdered in their lifetime" ... WOW... if we're going to open it up SO wide I suspect the numbers are equal or HIGHER for men. I also suspect any "MRAs" that behave like this could just be feminists pretending to be MRAs to discredit us..
/r/MensRights05/08/13 04:29 PM

The way feminists protest MRAs is VERY similar to the way Scientologists protest and vilify psychiatrists. They want to preemptively discredit their only opposition because they know they're frauds and that evidence, logic, and reason are not on their side.

But then it cuts BOTH ways... if they only have HER word and his word, then it's just he said, she said - literally. What if HE said the SHE raped him? Would she be in prison?

This is the same place where a female colleague has requested no male sit near her. Imagine if I requested no black people to sit near me? Take the SAME list and swap the names with female employees and send it off and just say it was a joke. Watch how quickly you get fired.

I think the problem is that when you hear it said OFTEN it becomes accepted. My niece who is the SWEETEST girl in the world. I mean she is amazing. She's the most ethical and kind person I've ever met. Anyway... she regularly makes some statements like "all men are dogs". I've gotten her to understand it by rephrasing things. If this said "All black people are dogs" ... it would CLEARY be marked as bigoted and unacceptable.
/r/MensRights06/06/13 02:03 AM
3

It's easy to explain how fucked up this is by rephrasing it this way: "Would you find it racist if I said 'We need to teach all black children that stealing isn't ok.'" ... every time I do that with a woman she immediately throws out a red herring and I refocus on my original question only to find that she agrees with me.

This is really fucked up. If you were to fake lab reports for a murder - which carries the death penalty, shouldn't the cops who faked the lab reports to go jail for attempted murder? Or at least manslaughter.

Search for "enclothed cognition" http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=enclothed+cognition&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 Clothes basically do this too. When you dress NICE or with a specific uniform it changes your perspective, position, and personality. They have done experiments with people wearing lab coats vs people dressed casually and the ones wearing the lab coats take their job far more seriously.

I love how she provides NO evidence for her assertions that MRAs are harassing her... They are trying VERY hard to make MRA the new "Nazi"
/r/MensRights23/04/13 11:36 PM

Here's the deal. This is a LOT harder than it sounds. Cops do this FOR THEIR JOB. You've maybe had to deal with them 2x max... Another strategy is to confront the girl and offer to pay her off. Say you will give her $1000 to make it go away.... DO THIS IN A ONE PARTY STATE... and record everything she is saying.

/r/MensRights07/04/13 03:06 AM

It LITERALLY does NOT make up for it. This is scientific fact. Part of the issue with doping is that you benefit from it LONG TERM. If you do testosterone, put on a ton of muscle, and then abstain for years, you won't test positive for doping. Yet you still have the muscle.

Are these people completely insane or do they have legitimate complaints about the MRA movement? I haven't seen anyone in this forum say anything which would deny women any rights. If anything we just want some of the imbalance corrected (on both sides). I'm SURE there are legit complains though. Any pointers of lunatics in the MRA camp. Where are these rape apologists I keep hearing about?

There's also a Women 2.0 event in the tech city about how women can improve themselves... it's NOT 100% women but it's somewhat frowned upon if men attend unless with another woman.

PUAs have just as much negative propaganda as the MRM. A LOT of pick up just has to do with guys comparing notes and in fact a LOT of it deals with how to socialize, how to approach people, how to be nice, how to make friends. I don't see ANYTHING wrong with the above.
/r/MensRights18/02/13 02:39 AM

The fucked up part is that I find that MOST of the MRA and WRA movements overlap like 90% But the "extreme womens rights movement" have lost their fucking mind retaliating against what they perceive as the "extreme mens rights movement" which doesn't actually exist.
/r/MensRights17/02/13 11:23 PM

Further. I realized its worse. If you are white. And your "son" is BLACK. It's clear that it's not your child. Can you go to jail in France or Germany for that? This is fucked up.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 05:30 AM

It gets better. If a woman wants to have an abortion and doesn't want to support the child society generally supports her. Well at least 50% do. But if a man gets a girl pregnant and decides that HE is not ready to become a father then he is a deadbeat, scumbag, piece of shit.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 01:31 AM

I don't understand how this isn't just a flat out affront to human rights and why it isn't illegal. Your DNA code (and that of your sons) is just sitting there waiting to be read. Why can't you read it? It's like preventing people from reading a book.

I personally think that the % of male and female stalkers and abusers are probably very similar in number. The issue is that females usually aren't bigger than males so they have to resort to psychological abuse to attain their goals.

came here to post the same thing. It isn't a crime to break up with someone for a younger woman. Women do this ALL the time to men. Usually it's a guy who is more 'powerful' which is the female equivalent of 'younger'. I found out that this is what my ex gf did... When I met her she was dating someone and cheated on him with me and then dumped him. I only found out about it because I caught her in a lie and then promptly broke up with her. Thankfully she didn't shoot me :-P
/r/MensRights08/01/13 11:38 PM

I think men know when they are in an abusive relationship. I think the major issue is how society deals with it. Women don't often 'hit' as they are usually smaller then men. But... when your ex takes a hammer to your plasma display, as mine did a few years back, then it's still abusive and manipulative.

The logic here doesn't even make sense other than for revenge. Your ex-husband can't pay for his child support because he can't find a job, therefore you throw in prison which therefore prevents him from finding a job. Brilliant.

Also, when this comes to court. DO NOT tell her you have ANY evidence for as long as possible. This way she has less time to formulate lies and she will just lay down a foolish story which the video can easily dismiss.

If I were you I would ask them to send you all paperwork saying they need to get your wifes permission. Then tell them you're going to forward the information to the ACLU. This is clearly a violation of your rights. This type of prior restraint was clearly a violation of a woman's rights when they needed to get their husband's permission for birth control. The reverse is also true. I think it's fair for them to suggest that you have a conversation with your wife first but to REQUIRE it is wrong.…

This is a bit of an unfair comparison. Males have a competitive advantage over females due to higher testosterone production. That's a scientific fact. You may not like it but it's true. Males dominate in sports because they're 'doping'. Though they're doing so naturally. If a GIRL enters a sport dominated by men it would be surprising to see that she did well. Because she is a female and either has higher testosterone than average females (which is possible) OR she is extremely talented. But if…

My niece. Only. She's not my niece. She's my ex girlfriends daughter. She's like family though ... She "lost" her father at a young age as he lives in Russia and they just drifted apart. She's an amazing young lady. Exceptionally smart. Really clever. Very open minded. NEVER mad. She's also try anything once. We go backpacking once a year. This year we were in in the wilderness for TWO weeks. She had a blast but hated the food. I paid for her high school and bought her a car this year. She gets …

Another idea... if you have $1.6M in savings, put the ENTIRE amount in an escrow for them so you earn interest payments on it .. the compounded interest will SERIOUSLY offset your total payout and you can still help pay for their college.

Dave Foley from NewsRadio fame http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Foley was on the Joe Rogan podcast talking about this: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/entertainment/television/Former--117641563.html and now he basically can't go back to Canada. His ex-wife got their lawyer to pin his 'potential salary' to his PEAK salary while he was on Newsradio. As if everyone gets Newsradio hits EVERY YEAR OF THEIR LIFE! What I've been doing is this.... If a girl is being REALLY flakey and has flaked on me, what I will do is send her a text like: "Hey, I found a diamond earring in my car. You want it back?" or "Hey, I have an extra pair of tickets to XXX event. I can't go. Want them?" Basically, just out of the blue... Then she will respond with "FUCK YEAH I WANT THOSE TICKETS" .. and then I never respond :) A few days later I will come back and say something like "Oh... I didn't see your text, I gave them to an…

At least for me I think it's partially true now that I'm older. But when I was 18 I had an erection 24/7 regardless of whether I was aroused or not... I also think it's a good point to say that, biologically, all men are NOT the same. Further, rape doesn't have to be intercourse. Rape is often about 'control' so if you are held down and sodomized then that is definitely rape.

Well free speech means you can say what you want but it doesn't mean anyone has to listen. It also doesn't mean that they have the right to the auditorium, etc. These people should be protesting outside of the office responsible for booking these events.

In fact, wouldn't it be MORE FAIR it the resumes were blinded? You shouldn't now their age, sex, race, etc. Also interesting that age discrimination takes this position. You are NOT legally allowed to ask a candidate their age. In fact, most HR departments advising avoiding topics that could pinpoint their age (what year did you graduate?)... Harder to do with gender though because its somewhat obvious.

Want to know a GOOD reason to not get in a fight? GIRLS... The human body is VERY fragile. If you're 18 and never been hurt before you think you're immortal. ESPECIALLY if you've been in a fight or accident when you were younger. you fell out of a tree and didn't get hurt so you think you can do this in the future. F=MA (for physics majors). I've done a lot of reading about T in the last few years and from my research as long as your within the healthy range - you're fine. Higher/lower T in that range will not significantly impact your performance. Pro tip. Get your free-testosterone measured at LEAST 1x…

Same here... it was very negatively enforce for me too. My dad would flat out HIT me if I cried. A few years ago I was dating a woman and we would fight all the time. I noticed that as SOON as she started crying that I would try to resolve it. But if I was upset she would do NOTHING to sympathize with me.. it was like she couldn't feel my emotions. Then I had an epiphany - it was because I wasn't crying. So I stopped fighting back. It took a couple days but the tears came. It felt weird at first…

I'm totally find with them using gender as a metric for car insurance rates. The ONLY thing that I think needs to happen is that it should be based on data and statistics with the feature BLINDED from the statisticians during the selection process. Basically... instead of being called Male or Female it's just a labeled feature of say 00x1 and 00x2 ... All you know is that feature 00x1 ends up having higher accidents and 00x2 ends with lower accidents. That's it... I'm sure there could be very po…
