“Not the same opportunities, and not the same amount” Then I can easily argue that it doesn’t provide(especially with regard to kids with terminal cancer, deadly diseases, people living in ghettos, etc.). “Opportunities you put yourself into” you mean CAN put yourself into. First, don’t bring religion into it. There are too many counter arguments to the phrase “God will provide”. Second, you just can’t say the right person will come. You could literally get hit by a truck tomorrow. Improving yourself for yourself is not only great, even the chance of MAYBE having someone come along is still better than zero.

You happen to go to school in the zip code where either the NFL or division 1 college football actively recruits. Not to mention that if it were say a different zip code they might have been suggested other options. I agree that certain careers need a certain IQ but you also need to know the right people and be born into a family either willing or able to encourage your talents.

No shit a lot of people are maximizers(I won’t say most but I could be biased). If so, I would go on to say most of those people are shitty then. For your information I actually have both a handsome face and a high net worth so for me it’s more of looking for the right personality(hint:most people are just not compatible, for whatever good or bad reason). Do I get a lot of success from this current paradigm? Yes. But I’m still going to criticize it. For the average person it sucks.

Thank you for talking about the class issue. I honestly think too many people on this sub think income/class/wealth is something that you can easily or even possibly change. There are sooo many factors that go into how one person makes more money than another, many outside of that person’s control.
