Wow I’ve been a victim of loud bar dates. Great advice. Getting someone comfortable to close proximity without being too obvious about your intentions definitely gives off comfortable and confident/dominant vibes. Leading her through a busy crowd while touching her lower back, telling a joke or making a comment about something you can both see but don’t want others to hear. I’ve definitely let my guard down with guys who introduce light touches and close proximity early on. Idk about hooking up …

Asides from the book, a healthy childhood in a good marriage is something your future child will learn even more from.

Yeh how people handle rejection is also related to their past issues, emotional trauma, mental health problems, poor upbringing, abandonment issues etc... rejection sucks but some people dont handle it as well as others.

Haha! I love giving people recommendations in sephora, I know more about the products there than the staff do.

Other stores where women have the time to casually browse. Stationery, clothing, tech stores or linger at an aisle in a beauty store and ask the woman next to u for gift recommendations for your mum/sis/grandma. Honestly you can meet anyone anywhere as long as you are confident in your social skills and can strike up a conversation easily.

If you prefer the "shopping route" I suggest going to stores where women have the time to casually browse. Tech shops, bookstores, stationery stores or even go to Sephora and casually ask the girl next to you for brand recommendations of gifts for your mum, grandma or sister (then make a joke about how your family would love her haha)...

This has happened to me a few times. I don't recommend it. If I'm at a grocery store my mind is usually busy, distracted and in a rush to gtfo of there. I hate grocery shopping. I wouldn't be able to give someone a fair chance unless they say something REALLLLY smooth.

I agree, it's one less thing for OP to worry about. Don't validate your skills through your husband. I'm a site engineer and my ex is a tradesman, we rarely talked about work. He used to feel insecure when people joked that I was his superior. He would often list out his site knowledge and past projects to everyone who didnt even ask. Eventually he got over it and gained confidence.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
