The idea of rape culture is crazy. Rape is clearly not acceptable in our culture (Unless it a woman raping a man). I mean, every sane person would agree that rape is bad... Fuck, most rapists probably even realize what they are doing is wrong, I'm sure that's part of why they do it.

Shit this is touchy issue... As much as I am for men's rights, reproductive rights are a very grey area. Edit: This guy totally fucked up though. It's illegal to spike drinks....

As much as i don't think Women in general would do this. I knew a girl in high school who told me that if her boyfriend broke up with her, she would accuse him of rape..... I was just like oh damn, I'm just going to quietly slip away from being your friend now.....

I was going to avoid the cocks whether they had syphilis or not so that doesn't really work.......

Lmao, I get it. But dude, you have some serious perception issues when it comes to women in General. I mean yeah, there are shitty women out there who will do fucked up things (men too), But I don't think most women would falsely report a rape.

For the most part what she was saying was solid. But to me, it doesn't matter if there is an imbalance of power. If someone is being attacked by somebody else. That person has the right to defend themselves. Edit: Typo

I'm not Anti-Feminist.... I'm Anti Crazy People.... and it just so happens that there seem to be a staggering amount of crazy people within the Feminist movement. But as for your research; I'm 18 years old, from Montreal. I'm not in college yet. I am currently working as a video Game tester.

Well good sir, best of luck with your technical woes. So just a quick intro question, what are some issues faced by men, that you have been affected the most by personally?

well, TRP Theory is interesting, but I don't really subscribe to that type of belief. Welcome anyways I hope your perspective can create interesting discussion within the boards. I JUST REALLY HOPE IT'S NOT IN ALL CAPS!

So, how about we just let the criminal justice system handle the alleged criminals. It just seems more logical...Because you know, it is the criminal justice system....

Yep, but people who go to a club, go to the club for that reason (generally). Edit: Just to clarify, I don't think any sane person would consider it sexual assault. My point was that someone (a Woman) could get away with calling it such!

It wouldn't surprise me. A guy goes to a girl and twerks on her. She says he made unwanted contact with her that she felt was overly sexual and made her feel violated and unsafe. Case closed.

Morally, what he did was wrong. Legally, it can be considered self defense. if the genders were reversed, i'm sure he would be charged with sexual assault...

It's true, everyone here wants to "Do something" but we only ever end up just debating within this Sub. It's rare that we see active "Activists". Edit: Welcome to the MRM OP!

I don't know when offending/disrespecting somebody (women) became abuse, but it really needs to stop because it's just fucking things up for everyone.

I hate the idea that everyone is born with respect. No... Respect is something that is earned. You are not automatically respected, EVER!

I took a break like that this weekend, I had been reading too much on these boards this past month and I kept getting into heated debates that didn't turn out too well. I also noticed that all of my thoughts started to get overly emotional and negative. To many bad vibes are bad for the mind!

I'm unfamiliar with the book, but my Girlfriend wants to go see it when it comes out on valentine's day. I mean yeah, it's about super kinky sex, but I didn't think it portrayed non-consensual sex. Even then, Rape and sexual abuse is shown in media all the fucking time. Get over it, IT'S NOT REAL!

Unfortunately, I think you are absolutely correct. These types of articles piss me off though. What if I wrote an article titled.... "Women Aren't so Stupid After all" I wonder how people would react.....

At what point will people start to understand the evil does not have a Sex, Gender, Race, or religion. It comes in every form, every size and every shape.... It does no discriminate... A Rapist is a Rapist, regardless of what's between his/her legs.......

Of course this girl was afraid of men, she has been told that MEN rape. Just saying though, If it was dark and I was walking through the woods, and I saw a man walking I would try and steer clear. I would also be on high alert.

Okay fair enough nature wasn't "Designed" it just sort of happened, (depending on who you ask) but you know exactly what I was saying. As for the apes having canines, it's a really good point and it always puzzled me. I do still think that every trait has a purpose, if there was no initial purpose, the trait would have not developed on such a mass scale.

Lead by example, always a good idea. One thing that I have always believed is that you cannot fight divisiveness with divisiveness. (Fire with Fire)

Okay, I agree with abandoning the roles that are forced. I do believe however, that certain roles are very important. For example, for men, the most common is the "provider/Breadwinner" for women it's the "Caretaker/Caregiver". Now if you look at any primate, you can see these 2 roles everywhere you look. This is how nature was designed. Men are naturally bigger and stronger on average, thus making us good at hunting, fighting and building. Women have God-like maternal instincts that give them t…

I swear that contract made me die of laughter..... but it also made me a bit sad at the same time, knowing that these types of agreements might soon be necessary in the not-so distant future. Edit: First ever Reddit Post/comment
