5	How to not be weird I think the issue here is that there’s underlying insecurities that are having an effect on how you present yourself. I’ve went through the same issues of being “too black for the whites & too white for the blacks”. You have to live your life & show your colors unapologetically (as long as you’re not being the asshole, have some humility), the people that gravitate towards you for that are more than likely showing genuine interest. 5	I miss being younger so much I wouldn’t really stress over losing contact with friends, in my experience some would only talk to me when they need something, which made it easier to weed out freeloaders & build a circle of legitimate friends. You’re just starting your actual life at 21, so don’t let the pessimism ruin your outlook. You can make more friends, if not, fill in that time working on yourself.
