He’s suggesting that the media should stop reporting male victims of violence or crime because that might take the spotlight away from female victims of crime. It’s such a monumentally bad take (and cynical) that he just has to be trolling.

“men’s rights activists (MRAs) and groups have consistently crafted spectacles of suffering as a political strategy. They have sought to dramatize the harms” Lol. Self awareness fail.

Are they options on the police form? Why not just their nationality? It’s so unbelievably backwards that some cop has looked the person up and down and gone “yeah you’re X race”. Like something from a concentration camp.

Not really there is no defined category of race. What race is an Egyptian or an Ethiopian?

How the hell do they still mark ‘race’ in America like it’s 1722 still

Neither good nor bad - there is a weird incel narrative that it was good when men had to do all the heavy lifting to initiate relationships. Personally I think women should do more of that ‘emotional labor’!

Totally agree - don’t be like feminism where 99% of it is just complaining about men.

Only a couple of these things are misogynist Nearly all of them are just unpleasant character traits (narcissism, controlling, arrogance) that both sexes can have.

You don’t get it because you aren’t a victim of this type of sexism. It’s like a guy saying ‘I’ve never been sexually assaulted so I don’t believe it happens’. You don’t experience being treated like a predator or rapist so you don’t know how it feels.

Well to be fair if it was communism they would only get with communist party members or connected people powers is the aphrodisiac, it’s just expresses more purely as money in capitalist societies. Actually women aren’t attracted to rich losers, they like to see a man boss others around.

I don’t understand why all these women are complaining that their husbands don’t do any work. Why did they marry them?! They had plenty of opportunity to find out what these guys were like and went ahead and married them anyway. And then complain that ‘all men’ are lazy. No darling, just your husband.

What a load of horse shit. If we take OP at face value the teacher is a raging sexist and would lose her job if she were male. It’s a great disservice to the young women in the class to be led down a path where being openly sexist is ok. In the real world it’s not ok.

Yeah I know but it’s like a “foundational myth” or something, like the USA is founded on “freedom” but had slavery and segregation and now has the largest per capita number of incarcerated people. Sometimes the lie has to be big so people believe it.

Sorry you can’t compare unsafe working environments with make-up. A better analogy would be unsafe drinking water. One is compelled (you have to work to get money to put a roof over your head) the other is optional - nobody is forced to wear make-up. I can tell from your comments you have imbibed deeply from the feminist kool aid but you haven’t drunk the MRA kool aid. I think to understand gender relations you need to understand both the female and the male perspectives.
/r/MensRights05/12/20 05:15 PM

At least you’re starting to think about it in this post. You should stick around MRA you will learn a different perspective. You appear to be well versed in the feminist narratives - the MRA narratives are also of interest.

That’s such a reductive view of history. There were (and still are) biological reasons why women looked after children and men went to work. It was the same in every single culture on the planet (1000s of cultures) which tells you it was a functional feature rather than optional. We have now engineered science to a point where we don’t need to rely on these traditional sex roles, so women have (in the west) reached parity in the work sphere. Men have not (yet) obtained this equality in the domes…

I don’t disagree with anything you said but outside of psychological experiments you need to shoot your shot and if they say no you need to move on. Hanging around and trying to ‘friend’ them into loving you will never work.

I think most women set their impression of a man (attractiveness) quickly and don’t really change their view afterwards. If you realised you liked your partner after 6 yrs you must have found him to be within your acceptable level of attractiveness previously. Lots of people, particularly men, think that their personality can compensate for a lack of attraction. This can lead to a lot of wasted time. Some men will read your experience and draw the wrong conclusions from it - it’s worth altering …

The guy above gave very bad advice. Women will know within 20 mins whether they are interested and you have to be direct, confident and flirtatious from the start or you will be dead in the water. The difference from byegone eras is that if she says ‘no’ you just need to move on. There is no longer really a cultural acceptance of ‘winning’ a girl. Although if you really like her you can ask her a few times (nicely).

It's just a word so it can mean whatever people claim it means. I don't see many honourable or worthy 'feminist' talking points these days. It doesn't seem to me to be about justice or equality any more.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/20 02:58 PM

That USED to be feminism. Now it's just privileged women looking for special treatment.

Feminism is specifically for equal rights. Sorry this is misleading. It's for equal rights for women
/r/PussyPassDenied12/05/20 01:05 PM
3

Not really - there are so many self-described 'feminists' that want preferential treatment that I don't think it's possible to call feminists egalitarians. If they want equality they should call themselves egalitarian not feminist which is just 'equality for women' (but men can keep dying younger, working dangerous jobs etc)
/r/PussyPassDenied12/05/20 01:03 PM

No it's not - reproducing is the only important point
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/04/20 11:08 AM

Fair enough I see what you are saying. It's a single data point though and not necessarily the most important from a Darwinian perspective
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/04/20 10:50 AM
4

No - if you make a general non-specific argument others can make a general non-specific rebuttal. If you look at quality of life and wealth stats they correlate with slightly older childbirth. I'm not talking about cuck nonsense here I'm saying a bit older than 18.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/04/20 10:42 AM

Most of human history was horrible so that's not a good argument.
