OK if you ghost someone after meeting them in person even one time, yeah that’s rude and lacking basic courtesy… But I don’t think ghosting a complete stranger makes someone rude. Maybe something came up in their life. Maybe a sickness. Maybe things are complicated and hard to share with strangers. Could be so many things. Please elaborate.. how are men expected to uphold their performative gender traits any more than women? Like expecting a door to be held or a dinner bill to be paid? To focus on performative gender traits we must mention societal gender roles– they perpetuate the expected traits in question.
