If you want to avoid court the best way to even it out is to get arbitrator and fight for an equal and fair divorce. If that doesn’t work time to lawyer up. If the two of you put your pride aside and put the kids first it’ll work itself out.

It’s your time and you need to put yourself first now. Shared time is important for the children but only when both parties are willing and ready. It’s frustrating as hell but don’t compromise your time because you think it will help the marriage or relationship.

I thought I needed to fix my divorce and everything that went with it on my own and it doesn’t work like that. Acceptance and getting yourself some good habits and help with either a therapist or a good friend was what really got me moving in the right direction. Good luck

I’m in the same boat. Wife is unemployed have two boys, one is about to start kindergarten the other preschool. We’ve been apart for a year and I’ve been living with a friend. I want to move on now (she wanted the divorce) but since she doesn’t work I am forced with the decision to either sell the house and put the uncertainty of a home on my kids or keep paying for the house until she get a job (who knows when that will be). It’s a mess. If we sell now we can make a good amount each for a futur…
