Reminds me of dudes that identify with movie villains, like the Joker or the character from American Psycho.

It's also a misconception that rape is violent. Rape isn't always violent, as you pointed out. People think if the victim isn't fighting back or being held down that it's not rape.

The gore and grossness is one of the reasons why I don't want kids. I don't know why he even agreed to have kids with her if his gag reflex is so strong. Just leave now.

My dad used to do this to my mom and me when they were married. We'd all be going somewhere together, get out of the car and then he'd take off walking so fast into the store. He'd start walking off before we even got all the way out the car. Both my mother and I felt like he didn't want to be seen with us. It was almost like he was embarrassed that he had a wife and kids. He didn't initiate the divorce, though he definitely caused it. Whenever I hear stories like this is just makes me think the…

I think guys that are embarrassed about their financial status or occupation will be vague or omit it. I understand privacy and not listing their employer name, but they can easily list the industry. I think he said he's thrilled because he's a low earned or unemployed and his ideal partner would earn more than him. I don't know what "muso" means, but I googled and it means musician.... So he probably doesn't make a lot of money if he's not famous or some other unique scenario.

I went out on a dated with a guy like this. He only asked surface level type questions, nothing meaningful. It all seemed like water cooler talk you have with co-workers, very generic.

All he has to do is change his behavior and don't co-sign the BS of other men. Problem solved! No need for the dramatics. He needs therapy.

I was in an app and this woman was talking about how there's a whole generations of men that are suffering or dealing with trauma because they grew up during the crack epidemic in NYC. I was like "And???" They better get into therapy, build a male support network, and stop leaning on the wives and girlfriends to put them back together.

Yeah, overall I think you have to pick and choose what FDS rules you can follow. Everyone may not agree with everything. It's even hard if you live in a place that has laws in place that can restrict the freedoms you can have.

As someone from the dark side, I understand the lure of sites like OnlyFans. You want the male attention and you think you'll have control, but you don't (that's not how the internet works). I didn't do OnlyFans, but tried something one the same vein. I felt it was a was to remove all the faux romance and just take the guys' money, but it's still all performative and designed to best serve men. I'm sure if women could get a lot of money and fast like on OnlyFans without the sex, porn, danger the…

I find doctors generally have a lack of sympathy or concern, or empathy? I don't know what it is, but they just have zero people skills. My gynecologists have always been too rough and can't understand that not everyone's vagina opens up on command. I found a special one last year when I went to the doctor.

If I didn't use online dating, I would very rarely meet guys. Guys don't approach me and asked out that often. I would have a date maybe once every five years if I tried to date the old fashioned way.

I think it helps to meet right away instead of chatting for weeks. There are so many things you can spot in person that you can't see or notice online. The longer you wait to meet in person the more they can craft that veneer.

This is what I had to do. The white guys I dated would always say low-key racists stuff or were race fetishists. Ot they'd be opened minded about one thing and there would be complete disconnect on other things. I still would have to be careful otherwise I'd end up with conservative Black hoteps that are closed minded, though I had to stop dating white guys. They were too problematic.

I couldn't find anything for the exact phase, but according to this Atlantic article: “glowies.” That’s the term far-right groups use to describe people they suspect of being federal law-enforcement agents or informants infiltrating their communication channels, trying to catch them plotting violence, or prodding them into illegal acts.

I hear simp a lot from guys that probably believe in treating women like crap, or they don't believe that men should take care of their partners or look down on any man that treats is partner well. It's mostly men that complain. There's groups on the site that have in their rules that findom is not allowed, or you can't be a findom and be in the group. Some of the men complain say they're tricked, sort of like a bait in switch. They think they're talking to a free girl, but then they find out that the person is findom or a pro domme. Some complain that all the dominant women are professionals. It's all crazy because this is what these dudes do on the regular, they just want it for free or …

Well I initially joined the site because I wanted to explore different kinds of non-sexual intimacy and wanted to have control. I'm not into PIV and I feel I'm mostly asexual. I'm grossed out by sex in general because I don't like bodily fluids. I knew it would be difficult to find that on conventional sites. I've found that it's overall hard to find, no matter the site. I'm a pit lost now. I'm working with a therapist, but right now we're focusing on some of my other issues. :(

This is exactly it! Those women are doing the exact things they want done, but they have to pay them and those pros actually have boundaries. The average person on Fet isn't a professional and doesn't any real experience. I also think for most pros it's work, and they see it as a way to make money and not some sort of therapy to treat their trauma.

Yeah...it will definitely be a journey. Honestly I don't think celibate guys exists unless they're secretly gay and only celibate with women. I don't want to give up adventure, but most adventure has grossed me out, even more so than I already was. Mormon sex with clothes still on is the way to go, maybe.... I also don't have much in common with Christians outside of faith. :(

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like all relationships are like this. Compromises and transactions, usually they're one in the same. Sex work is monogamy/marriage without all the positive perks like safety and security. Men complain about the transactional nature of sex work or having to pay for dates because they legit think marriage/monogamy is free sex. Their ideal relationship is to do absolutely nothing for the woman and kids (if they have any) and get free, on demand sex. These minuscule ch…

A lot of these guys get a beard because it makes them look better. They're not as attractive without it, or it's the only thing that makes them more unique. Most white guys have those homeless, unkept, ungroomed beards. Sometimes they're ridiculously long. Close cropped, maintained beard can look good on most people.

Definitely, I've debated it in the past because it is just so hard to find people that don't have pets. I like them, but a lot of the time they're gross and I don't want to live with them. If I did meet a guy that had a pet we wouldn't live together.

I guess masculinity is good, but I just feel it's not specific enough. I have a list of desirable and undesirable qualities/personality traits that I try to remember that helps me avoid certain types of guys. I don't care so much of whether the traits are masculine or feminine, I don't even think out how to categorize them most of the time. I just think about my ideals and my not ideals. Being specific and detailed really helps me not waste time and focus. I literally write these things down.

I don't know how to describe the type of relationship I want without describing the kind a partner I want. Make a list of dealbreakers and things that are important to you (like qualities you want your partner to have) and then see if he qualifies. Then y'all should both have a discussion about becoming exclusive and relationship expectations. Make sure y'all are on the same page about relationship expectations.

What has happened that things stop working? Do you have a private office? How often do you have to work together? If others are getting roped into her universe you may just have to shut them down too. In terms of looks I was referring to hair. If people don’t understand natural black hair, and especially if you have hair like mine (extremely curly) it’s not done or you don’t care about your appearance. I'm thinking of low-key as in not flashy or understated, so they don't go after the high maintenance looking women that they figure they'll have to spend money on, especially it they want her to maintain her look. I've never dated men that dressed poorly, but at my level of fed up I don't know if I have the patience or tact.

I don't think my style is bad and I feel confident and comfortable in what I wear. I just don't have the desire, interest, or time to spend more on what it takes to look high maintenance. I'd have to and blow dry and straighten my hair every week or wake up an hour early to apply make up. It's just doesn't seem feasible and wouldn't really do anything to make me feel better. I'd just be tired, bald head, and angry, lol The only think I'd like to improve is my skin, can't get and keep it clear, a…

They have the formula down. I'd love to be a writer for Lifetime and make crazy movies.

I've used the Mr. Number app to look up people numbers. People can leave comments on the numbers, which is really helpful.

I always feel that the women go to the men feeling upset, distraught, and sad and the men use that to take advantage of the women in their vulnerable state. Then the movie people use that to translate in to love and romance. I'm sure it's just mirroring reality as I bet guys have done it in real life. It's the best way to pick their victims.

Are they paying you? Surely that can't expect you to come in if they're not paying you. :( I would ask your supervisor/manager/whoever directly what your employer's expectations are.

I'm definitely getting the vibe that he's trying to ease into living with you (i.e. cooking and cleaning). Don't do it. He can focus on whatever side hustles from his own apartment, while visiting you occasionally. Most importantly he needs to be focusing on getting back on his feet and not trying to play house husband.

Maybe send him to the google page in case he "needs directions". That way he will see the address and the price rating.

Any of the ones with the sharp points. Also the one with the flat angled points also work well.

What about safety? I'd never add a guy before a date on Facebook. Now maybe if was a few weeks--month and I knew he wasn't crazy, then yeah. I just don't lie giving access to anyone that early. My Facebook is connected to my side business, which is connected to my professional profiles.

No I don't think porn is ok. Maybe my original observation didn't have anything to do with porn, it's hard to explained, but I tried in another comment. I don't promote sugaring or tell other women to do it. It's something that I've tried.

I agree with this, but maybe my point isn't at all related to porn, but others' desire or response to look at or find other people attractive. People end up watching all this f'ed up porn because they're really aren't many option that's healthy or safe. I'm just confused. I can't find the post yet, but the comments made it seem like a guy is never supposed to seek out porn. Is he just supposed to only think about his SO only all the time? I'm in my 30s, but I've always struggled with understandi…

I mentioned them in another comment below, but somewhat disagree porn (?), BDSM, and sugaring.

Sometimes I just wonder, well it might be more like second guessing myself, if what I'm doing is going to be helpful in the long run (i.e. playing chess not checkers) or if I'm being short sighted and all my current choices will turn out to be harmful.

Yeah, I generally am really selective about how I comment, especially if I already know my stance is in the minority.

I'm still taking everything in, but one thing is with porn. Recently there was a cross post about someone recovering from porn addiction. I agree to an extent that most porn made today is terrible and usually made from the white, male, heterosexual view not to mention how toxic and dangerous it is to women in the business and relationships. A lot of the comments agreed that men in healthy relationships should need or desire to look at porn. This is where I sort of started to disagree, because to…

Even not doing all the things you mentioned, sunbathing and generally getting a lot of sun without protection ages people, especially if they're fair-skinned.

I try to look out for warning signs for this when dating non-black men. Nothing screams problematic more than when I'm on a date and the guys says he doesn't like women of his own races and only dates out. There's always issues I discover later on. I've dated white guys that call white women high maintenance which I feel is code for standards. With them being LVMs they figure black women (seen as least desirable) will have low standards and will accept them when women of their own race won't dat…
