Take social media with a grain of salt. Even when your mind is not convinced, take it with a grain of salt. They could post a picture & look the happiest they ever been and have cute little comments, but they had the biggest argument before taking this picture. Also! Couples who constantly post almost every single thing about their relationship, alllllll the time....there’s already issues we don’t know about.

Oh my gosh! So I was dating this guy right & he would text me “call me so I can wake up” and silly me, thought “okay I’ll do it because it’s normal....right?” The times I would go over his house and I would leave, he wouldn’t even walk me to my car!!!! But he wanted me to call him to wake him up for our date...what am I? An alarm clock?! Also, I had to remind my ex, to FaceTime me or even call me if I wanted us to communicate more instead of just texting all the time. But he wouldn’t forget to b…

I used to give unconditional love to the ex who cheated on me probably more than I knew, started cooking for him, go to his house more just because it was “more convenient” for him (we lived 10 mins btw), I got close to his mother and sister (they loveeeed me), sex probably 4-5x a day, I used to buy him clothes too, because silly little me believed that the more I could love him the more he would realize my worth and guess what he told me when I asked him why can’t all of this be reciprocated ba…

My ex used to do this allll the time & the day of, he would come up with excuses all the time. Isn’t this also gaslighting?

My ex of 7.5 years cheated on me twice, maybe more, God knows, but it was “my fault” I became insecure & jealous. The only fault I had was staying after he first cheated on me, and not packing up my bags.

Your mental health will suffer for wanting to see the good in people & believe me.....lesson very well learned.

Honestly, I guess I thought that those red flags would just stop. I gave him the last word and he ended up calling me a gold digger peasant female that just wasted his time & he hopes my anxiety eats me out alive and I lose my shit. Lesson learned.

I made sure to be around people, because it can be scary to be alone sometimes. I also carried pepper spray with me to spray away the weirdos haha but please please go for it!!! It’s a life changing experience & you will appreciate solitude so much more.

There was this guy who I met on a dating app and things were going so well between him & I, on our first date he tried touching my ass, by the third or fourth date he started touching my chest slowly in the park (mind you there were people there) and I started feeling uncomfortable but i just didn’t know how to react and I told him to not do that because there were people there and he goes “who cares no one knows us” and then he goes “I’m not rushing you or anything but we should be having sex b…

Many LVMs are disguised as HVM, do romantic gestures in the beginning, only then for them to realize much later on that isn’t who they are and they no longer need to do anything because they “won” us over.

The last day I went to my ex house, I felt uncomfortable the whole night and I did not know why, mind you we were together for 7.5 years and out of those 7.5 years he cheated on me twice. I was having a panic attack, and I felt like I couldn’t speak, but in the back of my mind a voice kept telling me “Get out. Now. Get out.” I felt like something was wrong, I felt like he was doing something behind my back, it was an intense gut feeling. I haven’t found out what he did, but when you know, you kn…

When I was with my ex and the time Mac Miller passed away, my ex blamed Ariana Grande for his suicide.....Of course this ex I was with cheated on me twice, manipulated the hell out of me, gas lighted and belittled me.

After my ex of 7.5 years cheated on me twice, I always found myself wondering what has he changed about himself to be a better man after he betrayed me, so I would ask him and he would tell me “I’ve changed and you’re still the same” and I wanted to know what he’s changed so I can have a clearer answer, at first he would say “I buy you whatever you want, I stopped calling you names” but that’s about it. From there, every time I asked what has changed so much about him, he would get annoyed then …

Thanks I really needed to hear that. :/ He’s currently with someone right now, 3 months after our break up. We were together for 7 years and it hurt like crazy when I found out but I know she’s just another supply for his narcissistic/manipulative mind.

What about if you left them because they have cheated on you twice, they were manipulating you and belittling you, but you have decided to leave years after because you were just too unhappy. Do those come back too?

Thank you. its been 5 months since our break up, and although I do have many moments where I feel down and it hurts like crazy, at the same time I haven't felt this much peace ever since I left that 7 year relationship.

You're absolutely right. I remember one time he actually told me the exact thing. "If you can't accept me, there's the door." one time told him how I didn't see myself moving on from him, tried being cute about it and his response was "I see myself moving on from you." I realized then, he just saw me like he would see any other women. Thank you for your honesty, I'm done eating bullshit from someone who never saw my worth. I put up with his shit, and I know no one else will put up with him the w…
