I agree. I can trace a lot of the past back to excitement, and now know that connection and vulnerability matter more. However, that's harder than ever to find.

I can relate. It does suck to get rejected. You can get better at it by getting more exposure. Paying attention to the fact that afterwards you are still alive. Hell, sometimes going out with the intention of getting rejected helps. Go out and try to get rejected two, three or ten times. By increasing opportunities you automatically increase your chances of not getting rejected. When you do, over time you've had enough to realize that the world didn't end.

This is 100% it. I (46M) have had more opportunities for genuine connection when I approach genuinely and authentically. Just want to know their name. If it doesn't work out, move on. There are at least 3.6B women on the planet.

Those physiological responses may be influenced by money in upbringing, but environment in general will have an impact. With money, it is important to have the same values. However, if one or both partners enter into a fight or flight response during any or many interactions with their SO, this will reduce the quality of the relationship and over time it will fail. Being willing to reaso…

There is value in this lesson as a starting point without also explaining the caveats. He must realistically understand that they are people who do this for a living and mostly want the money. This may be a great opportunity to all our admit he's socially awkward and make as many gaffs as possible. The responses in that club are going to be very different from outside so he should be prepared. It is better to understand that social anxiety stems from a fear of being awkward or made fun of. The s…

Anything short of being genuine, authentic and vulnerable is horse shit. Unfortunately, whether they are aware or not, people play games. You have a choice not to. The best advice I can offer is be yourself, be honest in action, words and intention. Not just with her, but also with yourself. It may not go anywhere, and if not being friends can be fantastic, too. Life is too short to play games and settle. If not her, there will be another (abundance mindset). When I (45M) was a younger man, I ha…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
