I think it's a bit extreme to stop using Wikipedia altogether. Of course most of the people managing the feminist page are feminists, that doesn't mean the next time you go to look at a page of black holes that they'll be there also.

As far as I've seen most scholarships are ultra discriminate in everything from gender, race, ethnicity, income, citizenship, and more. I have only seen a handful that are purely merit based.

Yeah, the entire petition strikes me as a bit strange. I feel like they might as well organize their own race, but I know little about if that would be possible. I'd probably sign that petition if I felt that it wasn't just thrown together haphazardly.

Their petition is kind of strange. I'm all for letting them race in the same events, but it seems that their petition wants to run another event at the same time as the Tour with different starts and finishes (as in same length event, at the same time, just placed in such a way that the women and men aren't interfering with each other, and operated in such a way that men and women aren't competing). I agree with you. The reality is there are certain problems women are facing as a group, and feminism should seek to solve those problems. I didn't know it was government run, is it funded from taxes? In such a case I would expect to have access to any service I was helping pay for. How much a service costs is almost entirely dependent on how much the customers are willing to pay.

I think in terms of business you won't see a men only gym until there is enough men who would be willing to pay for one. It seems to me that there are not enough men that want their own male only gym, or at least there is not enough safety for a business owner to open a male only gym. I'd pick up guitar and cooking for the hell of it, and you don't really need to take classes to learn that stuff if you are determined enough. Other hobbies I have enjoyed are painting (personally I like painting miniature models) and carpentry, always a good feeling to know that you built that bar everyone likes.
