StoicismCheck out Epictetus! His Enchiridion is a nice, short snapshot of some of his thinking: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enchiridion_of_Epictetus | /r/RedPillWives | 21/10/20 12:36 PM
Narcissist ex boyfriend using me as a bait for making his wife jeolous, blocking my feminine journey ,making me crazy.Should I involve my parents in this matter??Block him. Grow up and focus on yourself if that is really what you intend to do. Actions speak louder than words and you are leaving yourself available despite what you say you want. You are the only person who is letting him in. Take responsibility for your own emotional and psychological health and remove him from your life. | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/10/20 05:03 PM
Even her friend laughedI disagree. Probably just felt shut down and resentful. However, once she enters the job market she’ll get a taste of the real world and decide if she wants to stick it out in a male dominated field for the sake of driving home a principle or skip out on 80 hour weeks and your coworkers being eternal horndogs in favor of a chiller 9/5 or part time gig, dude that loves her and a family. Or third option. Either way , props. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 03/10/20 01:14 AM
Even her friend laughedSame here. High five. & bless my dad for being a chill dude who lovingly accepted me back after years of me being an annoying teenage brat. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 03/10/20 01:11 AM
Thoughts/suggestions on how to recover from bad past and still find HVM/alphaSounds like you are doing some soul searching. Good for you. Be realistic about your options. Be prepared to be comfortable with age differences, baggage, and imperfections on your guy’s part. I’m not saying settle for an asshole who treats you poorly, but acknowledge that you dove headfirst off your pedestal & then some and that does have consequences. IE dont find the most traditional, cynical, virgin-seeking dude you can and rake yourself over the coals that you fail to fit the bill. Get off … | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/10/20 05:12 PM
Life no longer works the same way, now that I'm adult. I'm no match for many of the challenges that have plagued me recently. Is anyone else going through the same thing?I think this is a part of growing up and becoming an individual. You resist the “crowd” in all/many forms. It happens to women, too, even if that is hard to see from your own perspective. You aren’t alone, everyone is human and flawed, you have irritated people just as people irritate you (maybe different people under different circumstances, but I digress). I only point this out to attempt a tone of levity - I find it easier to tolerate other people and their less desirable attributes by accept… | /r/MGTOW2 | 30/09/20 05:00 AM
Not even an unpopular opinion, just one that consistently brushed under the rugTHIS. My college boyfriend did the same. It’s pretty great to be with a “grown” man who understands adult boundaries and can make you feel loved & womanly every day. It makes it easy to picture growing old and staying happy together with your man because he knows how to bring out your best and make you shine rather than try to put either of you in a situation marked by jealousy or desperation. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/20 02:36 AM
Not even an unpopular opinion, just one that consistently brushed under the rugI’m 24 my boyfriend is 36. I think “prime” is kind of subjective as we have not known each other until this stage in our lives. We agree not to discuss prior partners / relationships (his rule I respect) and baggage would be handled like anything else, either something significant we lean on each other and support each other with as a measure of intimacy (think personal loss or trauma) vs drama or untruth that would be treated as a violation of trust. At any age baggage is a matter of how you ca… | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/20 02:16 AM
Not even an unpopular opinion, just one that consistently brushed under the rugI think you’re a little young for it honestly. I was the same at 16, 18, 20. At around 22/3 my taste did a 180. Not “daddy issues” older guy attraction but genuine physical/mental/emotional attraction to someone who fit a more mature, established persona rather than a more youthful chemistry. My hormones hit in full i guess? There is still plenty of chemistry, but at least in my case the two now go hand in hand. I don’t feel significantly younger around my boyfriend who is mid-30s. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/20 01:04 AM
Pros and cons to an age gap relationshipI am 24 and my boyfriend is 36. I previously dated someone 9 years older, before that someone 3 years older. People are all different, my last boyfriend who was 9 years older was less mature than my previous boyfriend who was only 3 years older. Both of them were very jealous and controlling, and there was a lot of fighting. I took some time for myself to read about relationships and building intimacy, and worked to identify what I valued in myself and in a partner. My current boyfriend aligns w… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/09/20 02:09 PM
On the edge of losing it.Read the Surrendered Wife. Kindest dose of tough love I can recommend. The only person you can change is yourself, and making the changes in this book honestly will bring about the change you wish to see in your man. | /r/RedPillWives | 06/09/20 01:04 AM
