| 1 | An Inuk Canadian woman receives light sentence for murdering her ex-boyfriend while 'extremely intoxicated'. Supreme Court Justice tells her: 'The system has failed you.' With time served she'll be out in 10 months.Might want to look at Canadian laws regarding FASD, colonization, and Gladue. Canada is known for short sentences for violent offenders. Lifelong supervision is a pussy pass compared to a short jail term where she will likely reoffend immediately? Very intelligent and thoughtful response. Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 08/02/24 02:53 AM |
| 2 | How we can make it less difficult for boys to achieve in school — The Centre for Male PsychologyYou are so right. I did a very short stint when younger as an after school program worker. It was great because I could take my young child along to work. I worked with mostly young women. I had a son and had fostered several young boys. I also had daughters and know that boys and girls are not the same. What I saw at this club chilled me as a boy mom. Those little guys were always in crap. Loud and silly? Not allowed. Physically active? Not allowed. Forced to do boring crafts, and quietly. Gott… | /r/MensRights | 03/02/24 05:38 PM |

With time served she'll be out in 10 months. She got the light sentence because she has FASD and whatever was in the Gladue report. Unfortunately this probably means she will offend again. I used to foster kids with FASD and have researched the subject for years, and I don't think she should get any jail time. In think if she has been left to slip through the cracks and has suffered abuses in foster homes which worsens the effects FASD then she should be in an institution. She might be a danger forever. Some of the hallmarks of severe FASD… | /r/MensRights | 03/02/24 05:28 PM |
| -38 | Feminists are trying to ban fathers from making claims of parental alienation in courtI was raised by a father who was extremely abusive in every aspect. A boy friend's mother got child protection involved. He was denied access to me by the courts although the idiot (my mother) let him come around at times and I was again assaulted. My brother and sister on the other hand, he was still allowed to see. This led to many violent beatings for both of them. Our mother moved them in with him to move on with a new man. They were both abused and then abandoned to the streets. With all th… | /r/MensRights | 25/01/24 11:10 AM |
| 2 | Feminism claiming the loneliness epidemic?I think something more is at play here. My husband has never given up watching sports. We pay for the WWE channel so he can have his monthly ritual of drinking beer, ordering burgers and watching people hit each other with chairs. I roll my eyes, put in ear plugs, read my Kindle beside him, eat burgers and drink wine. Just an example..but the point is marriage isn't supposed to be about giving up who you are. | /r/MensRights | 31/12/23 09:40 AM |
| 1 | Feel useless as a partner or family manMy common law husband is not very skilled at much that would be considered man skills. His father died when he was young and there was no one to teach these things. He almost goes into panic mode when I ask him to do things he doesn't know how to do. Sometimes he learns things on YouTube and other times we get someone else to help. If you have enough money then you can pay for things you are not skilled at. My father told us as kids that if we're not going to be rich, then we need to learn how t… | /r/MensRights | 26/11/23 02:58 PM |
| -3 | Tricked into a Gaming Session with a Younger Girl??I have a trans son who plays games under a male name of course. He's not taking any testosterone yet as an older teen. So when people see online there is a male name, and then a feminine voice could be a situation like this. In which case you have nothing to worry about at all. As a mother of a teen my perspective is, it's gaming. Play the games and have fun as you would with anyone unless things take a weird and personal turn, which is unlikely if you are just playing video games. | /r/MensRights | 04/10/23 03:04 PM |
