Omg please leave. The more I read the more I couldnt stand your husband. Staying in an unhappy marriage does no benefit to rhe kids. You can find someone worthwhile and be happy. Split custody of the kids, he will still be a part of their lives and a caretaker.

My initial thought on not going 50/50 has always stood with the inherent risk to our safety we take as women.

I'm quite grey at 31, I've been getting greys since I was 16 at least. I have solid streaks of grey that I get hand painted balayage around on my naturally dark brown hair. I love the grey streaks and how they come out against the different tones. My hair color last so much longer and grows in so much more naturally now that I do this rather than single process my whole head.

Mustard greens, broccoli rabe, cauliflower, carrots and celery as one, onions and garlic as one. Also love kale, bok choy, brussel sprouts, potatoes, in season tomatoes, and I can go on for days.

I took my ex to the gym twice and he was being a supreme wet blanket moping around looking miserable. Not because it was particularly hard for him. But as he admitted at the end of it "he was embarrassed his girlfriend was stronger than him". When I've been lifting 4x a week for like 15 years at this point and he had never done a loaded squat or deadlift in his life.

Honestly upon reading this I thought to myself "wow that's asking/expecting a lot!". Instinctively thought that. Then thought for a second how I get tested, on my own, after a partner to make sure that I am good and that I dont pass anything along to the next.....

Any style underwear other than thongs are super uncomfortable for me. My butt is big and regardless if the undies are high waisted, low waisted, boy shorts, granny whatever they all end up bunching and giving me a wedgie. I'd rather have a controlled wedgie with less fabric.

I fucking hate that guy so much. The way the documentary revealed how he began cheating on her with his colleague- he had no issues whatsoever at the time with his wife and as soon as he was literally introduced to this new woman he was ready with a story about being seperated and on the road to divorce. Truly repulsive.

What in heavens would he be complaining about with your freshly pierced ears?? He sounds like an absolute drag on top of controlling and insane.

I disappear for stretches too. I work a funky schedule and work either 2 or 3 days in a row that average 13.5 hours. My phone is only off of airport mode from like 6pm-7pm those days and I'm usually fried and not trying to have conversations. My people know this of me at least. I'm sure I come across as uninterested with most romantic prospects but to be honest I have been mostly uninterested.. I dont really need the small talk constantly. Its tiring.

Y.i.k.e.s. I actually witnessed this with a friend of mine in college who had come to visit/ eat at the restuarant I worked at at the time. Her now husband pulled out his wallet to pay for the bill in front of me, handed me the card which I then processed.. it was hers. I think he actually just carried around one of her cards to use whenever which is even sadder imo.

I just had my first experience where I clarified that I wanted a normal date, grab lunch or dinner, and the guy absolutely would not have it. He was looking for a much more casual date and wished me luck. His suggestion was coffee or a hike. Ok, so walk into the woods for hours with a strange man- not easy for either of us to cut short should we not mesh, I'd think a 1 hour meal would be more casual? Also, not at all fucking safe for me.

Im 5'8", not as tall as you are but still above average height wise. I have always felt confident about my size but for much of my life ive been attracted to men my height and smaller. They have always come with their issues and insecurities. I consciously stop myself now.

Right. Since I've been on FDS I've had a few conversations with male coworkers who have talked about their forever girlfriend..whenever I asked why they weren't married it was always because the men weren't sure about her. I'm positive the forever girlfriend isn't aware of that. One of the dudes was with his girlfriend for 8 years living together etc., the other with his girlfriend for 12 years with a young daughter living together etc.

Yeah was gunna say... I've had a tough run and my house is far from immaculate. Doesnt make me LV or a man. I work 50 or so hours a week making good money, make myself go to the gym, walk my dogs in the woods daily. I dont see the issue with this cover it's something to connect to during the pandemic.

I'm on the lift and tint train right now and I'd highly recommend. I have to wake up at 230 am for work and this has been a godsend with how low maintenance but noticeable they are. I no longer use mascara, even after the tint wears out.. just under eye concealer and tinted moisturizer. Literally takes me less than 60 seconds to get ready make up wise. Also it lasts 2-3 months and is more affordable.

Yep, I lost 25 lbs while dating an ex who swears that he did not notice at all- that I look exactly the same. From a 24.5 bmi to 21 bmi.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. My ex complained a ton about how he was contributing to my home and he walks away with nothing but I also did all of the work to purchase the home as well as putting almost 40K down on it.. he would have had to pay to live regardless and had he not fucked our relationship up he would have had the luxury of living in a baller house on 10 acres without having to save and work for it. Additionally I was a reference for him for his following apartment.

Earlier today I scrolled past an obese, hick couple's profile which read how they are looking for "someone to play with" and also chastised people for expecting more than just a hook up on tinder. "This app is meant for hook ups not relationships hahaha 🤡". Like, no dude NOBODY wants to be used as a sex toy for you and your girlfriend. Tinder is NOT meant for couples to find "unicorns". Does anyone actually ever have any luck with that? Those profiles disgust the shit out of me.

I had an ex boyfriend who was kind of a wreck- would party too hard, ect and I always felt like I had to watch out for him. I was straight up no fun the entirety of our relationship. BUT I AM a fun person! Next dude I dated I felt I could be myself, from that point on a paid close attention to what kind of person I could be around a potential partner.

Yep. I found out my ex was hiding a heroin addiction from me for YEARS thanks to listening to my gut one morning and snooping. I always gave him privacy before that and generally did not concern myself with what was going on in his phone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 03:06 PM

No I think the same. There is no reason to go through your partners phone on a regular basis just because. I think were all entitled to a level of privacy. If there is a legitimate concern though- absolutely do what you can to prove or disprove it.

I second peter pan syndrome. In my pick me days, at the start of a relationshit with an ex ... I was 26 at the time and he was 41... he told me he wanted to get around and enjoy his time being a single bachelor while he was still young. LOL.

Anecdotally I agree with this. I've suffered trauma from a young age and in my twenties loved being dominated (not full blown bdsm)- I liked being spanked, only felt comfortable giving, and generally being submissive and being spoken down to during sex. As I began processing my issues this quickly became "not my thing".

All I read was a story of a bad ass who is working on improving herself and her situation. I'd also like to point out, the way we may make fun of LVM for being this or that- it's because their attitude and entitlement and lack of drive for improvement. None of which I read from your post. It's the foundation of the persons character that matters, not necessarily the situation they may be in at the moment.

An ex that I dated on and off for 2 years, when I was 26 and he was 41, has told me on several occasions that I have "a fucked up chin and jaw", unprovoked and for no reason. I do have a small chin and an overbite, but am still attractive. It honestly didnt surprise or bother me too much. The dude was like 5'6" and 135 lbs, with his own glaring personal issues. I never talked poorly of his physical image and would never dream of harassing someone for something they can't change about themself.

On a less serious note then OPs situation I've seen some blatant lies on OLD profiles of friends. Right when I first downloaded hinge and bumble I thought to myself "wow I can filter out men who say that they heavily drink and smoke cigarettes". Saw a (not great) male friend on there who is a complete alcoholic and smokes a ton of cigarettes claiming he moderately drinks and doesnt smoke. I dont know why I didnt think lying to get laid wasn't a thought in my mind from the get go.

Ew fuck any dude who tells you you need cosmetic surgery before being pretty. That says more about the man then anything. Whenever I've had a LVM ex say anything negative about my physical appearance I always respond with "well why in the fuck have you been chasing me for x years? Youre infatuated with ugly chicks? What does that say about you?". Please don't take that personally and know your worth.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/20 05:41 PM

That's literally the point..... the backbone of FDS. lol. No casual sex is one of the defining rules- and the strategy is to help women weed out men who are solely seeking that.

| If he really wanted the fruit of his labor on that house, he would have married you and stayed sober. Thank you (for the validation)!! That was the plan this whole time. I was fine being the one who made that happen for us too. That mentality didnt serve me at all when it came down to it. Lesson learned. Thank you for your reply. I have a question ladies! It applies to one of these rules. My recent ex is currently hanging this over my head and I think its bullshit. About a year ago I purchased my home that required a major renovation. My father who is a contractor lead the reno project, however the three of us put in the physical labor to get it done. The house was purchased by me- every single document, requirement for this unique loan, inspection, third party call or purchase was handled and coordinated by me. I paid o…

I'm in a similar boat, father and exs. I just ended a relationship that looks similar to the one posted in the OP, which honestly I am responsible for. I took the initiative to completely manage the household down to every detail. Sure I complained and called him out, but ultimately I was putting in all this extra work in the hopes he would acknowledge, appreciate and reciprocate on his own. Obviously that didnt pan out. Working on myself to never allow this in my life again. Good luck to you.
