I think it depends on your goals. For one night stands you can easily mimick social status through your behaviors. For long term relationships high quality women will probably be prefer a guy with more, real social status. Leadership positions, has a purpose, etc.

Can't tell if you're trolling or not. Either way, believe whatever you want to believe. If you're happy with your judgement and conclusion, and your relationship life, I'm not in the position to deny that from you.

Such bullshit lol. Women don't place as high of emphasis as men do on physical attractiveness. Trust me, I ain't the best looking dude but I've had GFs and f-buddies here and there, dates, and countless of makeouts from approaches. Not to brag but to tell you it's bullshit that physical attractiveness isn't as important as you think it is. Instead, women want emotional attractiveness. They want you express your emotions freely. They want you make them feel. They want you to make them feel specia…

I'm 25 so I'll shed some light on the half way point and share some lessons of mine. 1. Take mothafuckin' action. No excuses, just give it your all 100%. Have you thought that maybe it's your insecurity with your height, not your height itself, that leads to "rejections"? Couple things: 1. Own it. You're the short fun dude. If people don't like you, that's their problem. 2. Make it part of the conversation & let the girl know you're cool with it. Self-deprecation, when honest and playful and you're comfortable with it, might help too.

I did not read your post but I'll agree to your title for the following simple reason... Who spends 2-3 hours getting ready for the club/bar/date because they are anxious for attention and approval? Definitely not the guys.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
