It depends on your age - unless you’re happily married for most of your adulthood 7 would be very low - one person for every year you’ve been sexually active would be closer to the norm

There are plenty of books you can read that demystify all of this - she comes first and come as you are both come to mind. Excellent starting points if you are worried you missed the starting block. Women have the same problems- mature late and you feel like everyone else knows what they are doing when you don’t. I would also say that I did not have really good sexual encounters (with connection) until I was in my late 40s/50s - when I treated sex and relationships as a project and worked on my …

My last partner was very into pheromones 🤣

It’s about pheromones- you are naturally attracted to someone with compatible pheromones to yourself. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/business-26751949.amp

No lol I’m still not interested- I was just curious to see if he would be honest with me - the reason for him asking to meet is either that he just wanted sex with any warm body or that he didn’t like being rejected- I don’t care either way but I know some women do - maybe it will make him think twice the next time he thinks shitty behaviour online is acceptable

They do - not to the extent assumed on here

Looks aren’t the most important thing once you get older, energy is dependent on the person, as is laziness lol

Why would I want to date a man the same age as my kids? Why would I want to date a man my age who has never had a long term relationship and no idea how to relate to kids? The concept of an ideal partner changes as you get older - money is less important, most single women my age are self sufficient but would like a partner to have fun with - any man at my age who still thinks red pill/blue pill has any bearing on real life is not in touch with reality.

Just had a guy on pof ask to meet and when I said I didn’t think we were compatible he said I look like a dog anyway….I asked if that made him feel better he said yes, I asked him why he asked me out in the first place - he hasn’t told me yet…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 08:47 PM

Go figure. Looks and personality are not a correlation. Sounds like you had a lucky escape
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 07:22 AM

I would want to know a man was attracted to me. I would also want to be attracted to a man I was with. That’s not unreasonable. People who select only have power in a relationship if you allow them to.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 07:08 AM

Are you sure women like to be chased based only on looks? Ask your mum/siblings if that is true.

Well my suggestion is to work full time and get a cleaner - it reduces an awful lot of arguments 🤣

How does that work exactly? If you both leave the house at the same time and return at the same time why does earning more mean you get a free ride on chores? The problem with this assumption is that the person who takes the lions share of household duties cannot commit to work in the same way as their partner who is freed of that responsibility. I would warn anyone thinking this is a good balance to think very carefully about their own future financial planning. What happens if your relationshi…

I did at times financially support my husband and kids when he wasn’t working. He had narcissistic tendencies and did not take over looking after the kids, food shopping or all the housework. I am now divorced and financially support my kids with little help from him - they all live with me full time. I have no intention of ever mixing my finances with a partner again, and would not be open to the idea of financially supporting a partner in any way. By the time my kids leave I will have very lit…

I’m sorry to disappoint you but firstly, the hymen can be broken well before a woman loses her cherry. And hymens can be reinstated with surgery - my cousin is a plastic surgeon.

The number of men that walk away from their kids and leave the mums to bring them up….I would say it’s the other way around. I feel you are talking about younger women who are able to put themselves first, and quite rightly so if they are single.

The time you are talking about I was in a marriage where my husband earned a lot more money than me and was financially controlling. The only thing he could not control was how much I put into my pension, which I maxed out in every job. At the same time I encouraged him to max his but he refused, saying they were a waste of time. He also managed to invest £10k in a scam - found the guy he invested with had been arrested for fraud... So now, we are divorced, it’s maybe too late for crypto currenc…

It’s not necessarily true that men will be more attractive on a dating site. If the hypothesis is that the most attractive men are chosen quickly they are likely to make up a smaller volume of all male profiles when a time factor is added in.

Do you think it’s more to do with the fact that you’re incompatible with the person than their n-count? ONS are pretty much always rubbish - it takes time to get to know each other and what works.

Dumping them after a ONS because of it is not a good look
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 09:11 AM

That’s increasing your n-count though. Perhaps they never intended to have a ONS. Does that count? Does it matter that you now have a higher n-count? Do you tell your next partner about your ONS? All of them? Maybe if this is a deal breaker to you, you should bring it up in conversation before sex is on the table.

I know this is a question for men but I wanted to reply on behalf of both genders. It’s traditional that women sacrifice their career, often men earn more simply because of the fields they go into, but also they tend not to participate in the career breaks and part time working that women do because of childbirth and bringing up younger children. My sister in law was the career oriented person in her marriage and my brother sacrificed his career progression for the kids. In general this has work…

People mature at different rates depending on life experiences. You don’t suddenly wake up on your 30th birthday and become old. Don’t you think you would have more in common with a partner who is at the same maturity level as you?

Fair enough 🤣 I’m 53 and I’m not old but you’ve reminded me of a story which is off topic but I’ll tell it anyway... My mum turned 35 and I told her she was middle aged because she was halfway to 70. She disagreed, and another lady in the shop turned round and also disagreed. Mum said she would remind me of the conversation when I turned 35. She didn’t have to - I rang her on my 35th birthday and told her she was right - she wasn’t middle aged at 35 🤣

My mum, born in 1940, had the option to become a librarian, a nurse or a nun. There were no abortions, birth control was probably around. She was made to help her mum around the house, her 3 brothers were not. That was an era without vacuum cleaners, washing machines or driers for most. No fridges or fast food. House work was hard work! It was a time when someone had to be at home full time to keep up with the work, it probably made sense that person was the one who also gave birth and breast fe…

It’s called benching or breadcrumbing - it’s a standard tactic used by men and women on dating sites - once you recognise it, it’s very easy to shut down. I mean, if you are a person’s runner up choice are you still going to be interested?

But a high value man to me is not one that only wants me for sex, and I’m pretty good at weeding those folk out. N counts will increase with age for men and women - it would be interesting to see some statistics on cheating related to the age of men AND women... I feel a lot of the folk posting such bitter and vitriolic posts in this subreddit are younger - I’m guessing under 30? The older you get the more you will realise that what women want is to be treated as equals, not a different species,…

You’re missing the bet where he also has a fake male profile- if all the catfish and scammers stopped creating fake profiles the sites would work an awful lot better!

Follow the links....referencing other ppd posts as proof is not good science, pasting a copy of a table of figures takes science out of context. Where are the stats for men? The one paper which you half quote shows prevalence of this type is 62% in men, 50% in women. So...people who have more sexual partners before they marry are more likely to go on to cheat? The question is why? My suggestion would be that these people find it hard to form a good connection with their partner for whatever reas…

So it’s about how much money you earn not how much free time you have? In the real world the stress of a job does not always equate to how much you are paid. What if you both come home at the same time? Who’s responsibility is managing the house, bathing the kids and getting them to bed? Cooking a meal? Doing the shopping? In my experience it was me who ended up doing all those tasks whether I earn more or not.

Exactly- in a very high percentage of births the father will be the genetic father. Of the remaining few, some fathers will already know they are not the genetic father, others will not care. If the current system in the us means I can add anyone onto the birth certificate and then they become liable for the care of that child why doesn’t every mother put down bill gates as the father?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/20 04:14 PM

They could change the law in the US so a man is not responsible for a child if a dna test shows it is not his. The exception being where a sperm donor is used by a couple.

I’m guessing that if a woman messaged you on tinder asking for sex tonight you would: A- wonder what the catch was B - not go because you have something else to do already. Why do you think it’s any different for women? Yes women get messaged more than men. Those messages are very often just that with no intention of follow through from the men that message.

And yet people in the US are still dying of syphilis

Yes. Syphilis rots your brain. Gonorrhoea makes women infertile. Without taking regular STD checkups women can have these infections without realising.

I’m a single mum and I’ve met many others - I would suggest you’re meeting the wrong women. I’m a single mum because my marriage was broken. Those women you are talking about often have childhoods that were as bad or worse than yours - and poor education - and poverty - means they cannot see a different way to live. Maybe you could help kids have a better outcome by joining one of the buddy/big brother programs? Help change society for the better.

So...your biological father is not to blame here for cheating on his wife? You don’t know what actually went on in that relationship with the guy you liked- it may be just your view of matters that she thought he was boring. She may just have said that because she didn’t want to spoil the view you had of him. Hating women- or indeed all single mothers for how your life turned out seems a sad way to live. Instead why not try to make a difference? Don’t treat women the way your mother was treated.…
