I’m just gonna add a side note. Half my friends and family are engineers, and not a single one of them works over 40 hours a week. Hell, most actually work 20 hours a week. The rest of the time they’re at home mowing the lawn or something during the work day. The other professions are very busy though.

Not one. Ever. Not even kidding. I have very good success with people I know(friends of friends, coworkers, other students etc) and online dating. But cold approaching? Never has worked once. I just stick to what works for me and I’m perfectly happy with that.

Average height for a guy in Northern Europe. IMO there were much more attractive guys at the clubs, but maybe some girls were interested in a “normal” guy that didn’t dress fancy and have a perfect haircut and beard trim. I was also with my girlfriend and her friend so being around girls probably made approachable

Scandinavian girls are also the most promiscuous. I lived in Finland and was approached by girls, and the first thing out of their mouth was hey, want to go have sex in the bathroom? I politely declined but that hasn’t happened in any other part of the world. Happened 3 times in Helsinki.

Definitely Eastern Europe for Americans. I did a motorcycle trip from Finland to Macedonia with my girlfriend. I could tell that some of the check in girls at small B&Bs were just dying to hop in my bed if my girlfriend wasn’t there. You really need to stop worrying about what others think my guy. First step cut down on social media. Hell, video games are better for you than social media. There will ALWAYS be someone smarter/funnier/more fit etc than you. Just accept it and get over it and live your life.

Simple and good advice. Don’t worry so much about pleasing the girl. Go somewhere you like, that way you’re comfortable and enjoy yourself. In my experience, girls are not picky at all when it comes to where the first few dates are.

I never felt like this when I was dating, I was just myself. Sure, sometimes she’d stop texting back. Or after a date I wouldn’t hear a word back. But I still just did my thing and it’s worked out well
