Well lets just that assume that words have meaning and YOU don't get to define them as you wish without confusing the intelligent folks / people that know what they are saying. The Title of this thread is Why are Trans Women ( People that are often born male) more targeted then Trans Men (People that are often born female). you then say " ... its the opposite." Suggesting that Tans Men (people often born female, transitioning to Male) are more targeted??? but continuing in your comment discussin…

No the OP's Title is correct. Trans women are women who are often born with male genitalia and commonly experience a transition from male to female.

This should be a whole thread on its own and added to the wiki.

Feminists often overlook the draft, and ignore that its existence means that the government has literal control over our bodies/lives.

Just want to add that, in addition to not circumcising your child, while they are a new born or infant you should not force the retraction of the foreskin for any reason. The glands of the penis does not need to be washed during this time and doing so can be very painful and traumatizing to the child. https://www.seattlechildrens.org/conditions/a-z/foreskin-care-questions/

This. I have had SO many discussions where Women in my life *might* acknowledge that there are legitimate men's issues and then say something like "feminism is the Big Umbrella of fighting for Equality, be a feminist first". How about we all be for Equality for everyone all the time???!

What problems are you talking about? And what solutions are you talking about? Personally I don't care if a solution is sent down from the goddess of the moon. If it is an effective strategy that is getting results in helping my brothers that are suffering I will continue to use it. Your generalized post seems to just be promoting arbitrary division.

If you agree, I think you should lay out the pro argument then. :) Here is my Con arguments: You are mixing [caused by] patriarchy with [caused by] society. If you believe Men are pulling all the levers and have a grand plan to suppress women, then stick with the patriarchy label and then tell us who these men are, so we can go kick their asses, cause suppressing people is NOT acceptable. Most in this forum would, I suspect, say that modern society is a giant, immensely complicated and overwhelm…

Any voice offering support in the darkness is good thing imo. She has a platform and is using it to support men, and she is asking for our assistance with the content. Let's help her out here.

Or would could BELIEVE HIM and trust that he is telling an important story. No matter How many kids you have, no matter the tax rate of his particular state, forcing someone to: Not be present in your children's lives when you wish to be . force someone to hand over nearly 80% of the products of their labor, trapping them in a life of poverty . is treating the life of this brother of ours as practically worthless. This person is a human! They deserve respect and the ability to pursue happiness. …

MRA's are not saying fathers shouldn't contribute to the raising of their children. In fact, The father in the video wants to contribute/help raise his kids with his time , but his former spouse is not allowing him to do so. The Message from this TikTok is that the CS system has become abusive towards men. https://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/19/nyregion/when-child-support-is-due-even-the-poor-find-little-mercy.html Looking purely at what is actually presented in the video using as conservative assum…

Thanks for posting this! I have read a few ftm accounts of experiences of time as each gender and it's always fascinating. I hope you will post more.

We have to eradicate the phrase “ you’re not supposed to hit a girl “ - a lot of girls deserve to be hit Take the gendering out of this to make it correct. You are not supposed to hit anyone. Nobody deserves to be hit. Just like nobody deserves to be abused

I believe this can be true. But I have often seen this used to shut down discussion or as justification to ignore legitimate requests for help. Help all victims. Regardless of gender. Men can be victims of intimate partner abuse. Men can be raped by women. Men can be unfairly treated by family courts. Men can be oppressed by traditional gender expectations. Women can be oppressors. The ideal is equality, to get there, we have to be willing to listen for and address all oppression.

I suspect you are trying to give the author undo credit. I think the very simple and misguided point is. "Actually I can" [hate all men]

I get your passion, but your message is very confusing. We are an EQUAL Rights movement, so by definition we want to receive back the same fairness, decency, and honesty everyone is intiteled to. That means we have to keep up our end of the bargain. Permissiveness and openness are required for equality. Men in the past held most of the power and have given that up, that's a good thing. But the pendulum has swung too far. Now it is the feminists turn to learn how to open up there ideals and strug…

I agree with this assessment. I think She thought she was about to be molested. I also agree with the comments that she made an assumption, overreacted and committed a rather savage assult. The video cuts out too early but the change in emotions on her face may start to show a little remorse. Teach all people not to hit!

I agree. It is the fact that we aren't allows to that is the issue. There aren't too many times when men go shirtless, and there is some stigma if they did ( say on a bus sitting right next to you) but in a park or on the beach? I'd nude it up for sure!!
