You'll find women out there that don't live in a fantasy world. Just wait for it, the right one is right around the corner! Be yourself! It's going to happen when you stop looking! There are unicorns, I promise! I've seen my boyfriend cry in front of me because of the stress from knowing his grandfather died. It didn't make my vag dry up or any of that nonsense. Some people have empathy and the whole "shield of armour" in any circumstance is just a front that no one can keep up with all the time…

what's funny is that all the special snowflake women crop up talking about how they're totally not like that. Yeah. Right... In their minds they're ego invested in believing they're not like that. They're deep emotional creatures looking for a soul mate. It's written in the stars. They don't really need to acknowledge (nor can they reconcile) that when push comes to shove, they'll do like women do.

Don't be shocked when your girl gets upset after you foolishly try to offer solutions to her problems. In any way, shape or form. When a girl complains, your gut reaction is to fix it. Guys are fixers. Girl gets upset about her coworker ratting her out for being late to work? Immediate response is: you should leave a little earlier for work! What do you get back? Why are you taking my coworkers side? It's like you don't even care!

Well then you happen to agree with red pill school then.

SOME (though perhaps not all!) Red Pill sources would be quick to argue that women are quite frequently very bad at knowing themselves. I don't think the sidebar of the red pill really affects how sperm feels about her grasp of her own argument.

I took the original submission to say that red pill school doesn't understand his own argument, and neither does sperm. I think red pill school is trying to refute that neither sperm nor himself agree with that assesment. soulcake here has just gone to left field.

No, your reply was about whether or not each member thinks the other knows their own position, not whether each member thinks they know their own position.

It's simple: your post interpreted redpillschool in a different way because of the missing word. You are highly combative - heck I just checked your history, you followed RPS around the entirety of reddit and posted things about rape. Why would anybody assume anything else from you?

The original post was : /u/redpillschool and /u/spermjackalope accusing each other's respective positions of misrepresenting them and not knowing what they themselves are representing To which I think redpillschool was responding that neither he nor sperm thought they didn't understand their own arguments.

And changed the meaning from "But I don't think either of us would agree that we don't understand our own arguments." to "But I don't think either of us would agree that we don't understand our selves."

http://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/1mmxkb/the_red_pill_does_not_represent_a_complete/ccawweh A baseless argument that someone is being deceptive should be considered a personal attack, and should be prohibited. You mean like dropping words off the end of a sentence to make it mean something else?

But I don't think either of us would agree that don't know ourselves what we're representing Reworded for you: But I don't think either of us would agree that we don't understand our own arguments. This has nothing to do with opinions of each other's arguments, he was talking about their understanding of their own respective arguments.

Would it not be her will for signing said contract?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/13 08:14 PM

If a woman consents to sex via contract, and I go to have sex, she says "not today" and I say, "yes today" and she doesn't resist, that would be a really shitty marriage, but effectively the contract she willingly signed. That is not stepping out of bounds to self-enforce a contract. If she resists, then she is not performing on the contract and you can sue. There is no legal backing for forcing somebody to perform on a contract. Edit: FYI, this is a conversation about a hypothetical on whether …

So what you're saying is that a woman can consent to sex, but it can still be considered rape if you take her word for the consent?

Nobody spoke about making it compulsory, you continue to take down straw men. Are you capable of uttering just a single honest argument? Or is your entire purpose here to mischaracterize positions?

The question is, if a woman agrees to it, is it against her will? Yes. That's all we need to see from you today. You literally think that women should not be responsible for their choices, nor can they make choices that might have consequences. Gosh, that's terrible. I think women are people. Women cannot demand agency if they refuse the consequences therein.

a contract overwrites your immediate consent and you can be forced to have sex against your immediate consent. A contract that you have every right not to enter it. There are plenty of contracts that overrule your whim after you enter it. RPS used the army as an example. You are missing entirely that these don't just happen to lowly ol' women minding their business. The entire argument is based on the idea that women could choose to enter the contract. As well as men. If a woman consents to some…

I'm not suggesting the marriage contract should be changed. The only question was whether or not it would be moral if it were changed to what marriage is prescribed in the bible. (since some people enter into religious marriages). It is still morally wrong because it strips people of anatomy. So you're taking away a woman's right to choose if she wants to give long term consent? And you think that's morally right?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/13 03:46 PM
1

Yes, people have the right not to enter into a stupid archaic contract. Literally nobody here has suggested otherwise.

You're really spinning as fast as you can to try to peg a view on us that doesn't exist. The idea that women would have the right to decide to enter the contract is simple. Nobody's forcing you to have sex if you made a contract saying "I agree to have sex no matter what for the duration of the contract." You've consented to it. The reason it's not morally wrong is because this sort of arrangement would be considered to be the action of a rational agent. The fact that marriage contract doesn't i…

It's also important to note that he's explicitly stated that not only could future consent be contracted away (by marriage) if law allowed, but that in such a world, sex against the "immediate will of the other party" would be morally fine--not just that withholding sex would violate the contract, then, but that taking sex "forcefully" (against one's will) would be not-inappropriate. The point you're missing here is simply that one would enter the contract knowingly. You don't have to enter the …

(2) "Spousal rape is only a legal art, not a moral problem." The question was about consent. If you consent to sex, and I have sex with you, am I immoral for doing so? Of course not. The legal definition of consent, then, defines the morality of the action, as this is the common language used by both parties to determine the terms of the agreement. The question, as I'm reading it, was whether or not somebody could consent to sex for extended periods of time (marriage) and waive his/her right to …

Sexual utopia in power. The term "date rape victims" is in quotations because it's relying on the context he provides in the paragraphs before your out-of-context excerpt. I'll take this one. You see, if I wanted to date a woman who is manly or attempts to emulate male traits, I'd just date a man, cause men are better at being men.

Women didn't have boobs until culture told them they had to have them. /s I suspect that you'll find that gap change if you test again at a different age. I've seen a lot regarding women developing faster but not necessarily farther than men.

If people did this, the women who really did want sex and we're engaging in token resistance would eventually learn that saying no does in fact get taken as a no. If they want sex badly enough, they will start just saying yes in the first place. Men should withhold sex so women will finally learn the meaning of words? Classic hypoagency, it's men's problem women communicate covertly. Men should fix it when women don't know how to us words.

Are you suggesting that a professor, doctor, and author of college textbook for psychology cannot draw from other known fields to help demonstrate psychological behaviors? Or is your suggestion that anything an expert claims is a boldfaced lie if you don't like the implications? http://tierneylab.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/08/20/is-there-anything-good-about-men-and-other-tricky-questions/?hp

Statistically, we know that more than 40% of men are potent, and over the time span of millions of years, outliers such as sex sans pregnancy would be ironed out. It may have an effect +/- 3% but probably not even that much. I think the numbers aren't supposed to be spot on, only demonstrate the difference between the genders' approach to sex. For instance: http://jonmillward.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/the-final-results.jpg Obviously not a strict statement on today's relations (on or of…

I don't think it's necessary to prove it's happening right now. I think it indicates that women are the selective gender. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a disparity today, even if it's a much smaller one.

There's pretty strong dna evidence that we descended from more women than men. (80% of the women had babies with 40% of the men). Check out the research by Dr. Roy F. Baumeister. I learned about it in undergrad biology but unfortunately the only source I have is a textbook ($150).
