There is afaik no scientific evidence that the tactics TRP describe are in any way successful as a sexual strategy. If you have studies that substanitate TRP and are conducted in a sound manner, share them.

I'm not talking about men and women carrying themselves differently, or about them having different physical attributes that are attractive. I’m also not talking about those things. Read my post because it explains why men’s and women’s bodies are emphasized differently in images. It is because the body shapes are different and are presented in a way that is most pleasing to the male/female shape. It has nothing to do with "power" and "vulnerability".

You understand that men and woman are physically shaped differently, right? A pose that works well for women doesn’t make it necessarily viable for men and vice versa. What makes a certain pose ‘work’? A pose that works is a pose that displays body features in the most pleasing and interesting way possible. That is why poses for men and women are often different. As you say yourself; a pose for a woman that looks good to us, doesn’t look pleasing when a man is placed in the same pose. It is not …

You seem to miss the point by expanding the idea of status beyond the defined context of the sexual marketplace and then claiming reductionism/ignorance. “several forms of status”, “less about the looks and more about the way you present yourself to the world”, “a good first impression”, “a lot of other things”… You use a lot of very vague statements that have no actionable or quantifiable value. Maybe then all you need is just some of that mythical “confidence” to be high status? Hot girls get …

“low status” = lack of physical attractiveness TRP is mostly bs as is pua, because they start from the idea that you can learn a certain behaviour to make women see you as attractive. We judge attractiveness in a fraction of a second when we see someone for the first time. Men with esthetical faces are viewed as more confident, manly, responsible, intelligent, having more leadership potential. Therefore most guys are invisible to women so most behaviour of these men goes totally unnoticed. Low s…

For physical attractiveness your face is the most essential part in how you are perceived by the world around you. A positive perception is essential since peoples expectation is that you behave and act according to the value they ascribe to you primarily based on appearance. Improving SMV is improving looks. A TRPer can act all “alpha” and have “frame”, whatever that even means, and run false time constrains and other stupid routines on women; it will not create success if the SMV does not matc…

I think plastic surgery is probably better improvement advise than most of the standard “dress better, get a haircut, lift” advise. If you don’t do these obvious aforementioned things already, you are a lost cause. I would argue that plastic surgery is probably most worth it for a person (both men and women) if they are at least average to above average looking. A lot of attractive people who are in the business of being beautiful, use it exactly that way: to improve on small/moderate flaws. Oth…

If you really believe that, I can only recommend you look into research on how attractiveness creates a halo of traits like confidence, responsibility, intelligence, trustworthiness, sense of humour etc. that goes far beyond the romantic and sexual context alone. Looks in both men and women shape how every interaction in our lives goes with both sexes, from the mundane everyday things to important interactions that can shape success or failure.

This is quite interesting to see. Your alpha play failed and you follow it up with what I can only assume is the result of a complete mental breakdown. Your TRP “True Alpha”-badge should immediately be revoked.

Internet porn is also to cause for pussifying men. Your body gets used to porn and think its real sex. So you develop extremely skewered beliefs about real women and sexual anxiety This is why I advice any man to go a while without porn/wacking off and see how high his confidence with real women goes after about a week or so of no porn or wacking. I agree that it can be fixed by doing the right exercises. However, a lot of guys don’t do deadlifts or squats. For upper back I like BB rows and Yates rows.

A muscular physique is important but will only look good if your posture is on point a well. I see people at the gym all the time who have some decent mass but still have bad posture. A noticeable degree of kyphosis in the posture is very common; forward head position, forward rolled shoulders and rounding of the upper back.

I always find it remarkable when I read someone linking porn to their erectile dysfunction. Going with some unproven myth instead of their lack of exercise, obesity, smoking, alcohol usage etc. But oh no, it must be the evil, evil porn right.

I quit watching porn about a year ago and it literally changed my life. Since then I have become a millionaire, only have dated super model looking women, got a phd, and have gone from super skinny to 220lbs at 6ft, 6% bf. Can’t believe how much porn was holding me back… And then I woke up and realised porn doesn’t affect me at all.

With “bitch shield” you mean a woman acts cold or unpleasant when you first talk to her? This probably is not a test, but simply a display of her lack of interest, since this is the quickest way to get rid of a men she is not attracted to. Do you have any scientific research about this ‘shit testing’ being a courting strategy actually used by women? I do however agree that if a woman is attracted she might tease you a bit or play hard to get, to filter out any men that are severity lacking in so…

If a woman finds you attractive she will generally be quite open to talk and be quite teasing/flirty. If you don’t behave like you have a social impairment or say something extremely inappropriate/offensive, you will be ok. These situations are the only place where some ‘game’ can be useful. If she is not attracted, she will not make it easy for you or just show disinterest. According to TRP this is just a test to make sure if a man is worthy of her and an ‘alpha’ and passing this test makes a m…

Of course feminists are crying about this. According to them women and men should have the same rights and freedoms, but not the same duties and responsibilities. But then again, they want 'medically fit women'. So this excludes all feminists by definition.

Women on Tinder don’t lie about looking for a handsome partner, that is just implied. Short-term partner choice in women is based almost exclusively on attraction to strong attributes of masculinity and the cues of very good physical condition that go along with it. This attraction is not a choice but a biological imperative. Women have evolutionary always been physically the weaker of the two sexes, and navigating/surviving in the sexual market place throughout history is only been possible by …

Although symmetry is certainly a factor for facial attractiveness, I don’t think it is that high of an indicator at all. There are lots of very popular actors that are found to be attractive that have noticeable degrees of facial asymmetry (Paul Walker, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling, etc…).

If objectification is the treatment of a person primarily based in terms of certain characteristics, then studies show that looks are the most important for both men and women. Physical characteristics are the thing that is most desired above anything else, regardless of sex. Looks define how we see a person, male or female. It is called the halo effect, it gives an observer a cognitive bias to the overall impression of a person (status, health, confidence, responsibility, intelligence, talent, …

I think the cause of changes in traditional gender roles are not that women are taught to be ‘assertive, ambitious, and have high value’. This is a classical feminist reading of the developments after the facts. The shift away from traditions is caused by larger socio-economic developments in the post WWII decades. A very important development for women working in the western world were the labour shortages during WWII, when lots of men were shipped off to fight. This changed the societal view o…

I agree with you. Most behaviour of average men (probably more then 85% of men active in the sexual market place) goes totally unnoticed by attractive women. Women will assume you have low self-esteem / nothing to offer / are ‘beta’ when you are not physically attractive. If one of these average men approaches a very attractive woman with the ‘STRONG FRAME’ described in the ‘How to get laid like a warlord’ post, he will not be perceived as desirable at all. Several studies support the view of hypergamy in women with the aim to find a man with the highest possible SMV. It is suggested that women have evolved to cheat on their partners during the most fertile part of their cycle, if their partner is less sexually attractive compared to other men. Women look for men with a high degree of sexual attractiveness because they express strong characteristics and favourable genes. However when women have a very sexually attractive partner, women are much les…

Women don’t even have to be 'experts' on men, all they have to be is good at recognising good facial features. We all are experts on faces because we look at faces all the time. In a split second you can tell of someone is attractive or not. Plus in today’s world we have a much better formed idea what the upper tier of beauty is with media exposure to models, actors, etc.

Yes, because anyone will look as decent bald as Jason Statham... Only men with aesthetic and manly facial features (strong jawline, chin and cheekbones) will look decent bald. Other people not so much and anyone will look better with hair.

I agree ‘game’ does help a lot. The big question however is, who is it that game helps so much? Not the average guy (+85% of men in the sexual market place) who hopes to get laid a lot, that’s for sure. Who game helps most are the people selling it to others. The PUA’s writing books, giving workshops, writing blogs, making video’s about it. They line their pockets, withholding what most people can’t seem to fathom: looks determine attraction, and attraction cannot be negotiated.

You assume that "someone who is rich and high achieving will most likely also be fit"? Do you have the slightest idea how much time and dedication (training and nutritional) it takes to create a body that is visually appreciable as athletic for the average person? A lot of time. Time is something most high achieving people are quite short on already, so assuming these people are universally fit is quite a stretch to say the least…

Women will assume you have low self-esteem / nothing to offer / are ‘beta’ when you are not physically attractive. A women’s expectation is that men behave according to the value they ascribe to a man. This value is primarily based on appearance, in particular an aesthetical face.

I always have an ambiguous reaction when reading a post about game theory like this one. On the one side it is correct that social interactions with women can be steered to get a favourable outcome; a hook-up. On the other side it is well established that women only tend to have hook-ups with men that possess cues of very good physical condition like a high degree of facial aesthetics and manly features. Short-term partner choice in women is focussed exclusively on attributes of male facial masc…

The larger any community with a certain interest gets, the more it gets diluted with lower quality content and over time it decays. Look at the default subreddits, they are cesspools of subpar quality. Beyond a certain threshold, the influx of more users reduces its content quality substantially. With almost 170k subscribers TRP is small compared to some other subreddits, but for such a fringe philosophy in the current social climate, it is quite notorious and well established.

The term ‘misogyny’ gets used way to often these days, so much so that it has lost most of its original meaning; the hatred of women. Acknowledging differences between men and women is nowadays often regarded as a sexist and by extension misogynistic. TRP is sexist in the sense that it argues that men and women exhibit different characteristics that go beyond mere physiological differences but the lesson from this argument is never concluded to be hatred for women. The things the women in OP’s l…

Successful people do not necessarily give good or valuable advice. If you are successful it doesn’t mean you are automatically good at analysing what generated success in the first place. You can have a multi-millionaire who thinks he knows what exactly it was that made his fortune, but in reality there are a lot of hidden factors at play that have a disproportionate effect in having success or not. These hidden factors are rarely highlighted in their stories if they are known, in favour of pers…

OP's attractiveness statement is correct imo however the analysis of impact of behaviour is severely overvalued. Attractiveness and especially aesthetics of your face are the most essential part in how you are perceived by the world around you.
