Don't hit on people at work. They get paid to be nice to you. She probably says that to every guy that asks for her number.

His piece on flakes is actually really good for time wasters. Just be upfront about your boundaries and how you value your time.

Not much you can do with her at this point, but you've come out of this knowing what to do next time. Moving forward, make sure you have a place to fuck, preferably your own place without roommates. I was in a similar situation, girl lived with her parents, I started staying over there, we stopped fucking, I got needy/insecure/jealous instead of acting on my intentions and became associated as a nice guy/friend. Next thing I know, she's going out with her friends doing blow, comparing me to them…

Set some boundaries. If she doesn't follow them break up. Sounds like she's keeping this cuck around as a backup plan, or maybe even a booty call.

Text for the meet up, and back off of "talking" through text. Some girls don't text first, ever.

Work on your inner game first, sounds like you aren't comfortable in your own skin enough to cut lose and be yourself. Read Models, there is a bit in there about certain humor techniques. Hit the gym or find a hobby that promotes physical activity like hiking. Hit some low-key bars and befriend the staff. Expand your social circle. Consider picking up volunteer work.

Honestly I'd just like to end it on a fun memory and break the tension between us so we can actually move on and be friends. It has nothing to do with wanting to get back together, I already know the relationship is over.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
