This makes sense to me, but wouldn’t these men have that same response to ANY other partners?

Why? What would make one viscerally disgusted about it? If a person has had sex with many people, but they have no health or STI concerns. What would the visceral response be towards? To me that would say that man has a proprietary and territorial sense over the female at such a deep level that they viscerally respond to the idea that other mens penises have been inside their partners vagina. Someone who has had consequences from promiscuity such as herpes, is a different response.

Also not in US and common law here is the same as getting married in most instances. People are just less likely to follow through the insane court processes with common law because you don’t need a court order to have it concluded. So that does impact what people are willing to spend to end the relationship.

I agree. I’d advise anyone not to get married. Marriage sucks lol. This is one of many reasons not to. With how society is these days and how selfish people are, lacking any kind of fortitude or personal responsibility, as well as the expectation of immediate gratification and entitlement, more things can go wrong than right. I managed to squeak out of a long term marriage with very little financial damage. You would not see me rolling that dice again lol

Exactly. You don’t have to get married to raise kids. So if people don’t want to get married why would they? In what scenario do you see people getting married and then the wife just suddenly decides to stay home and raise the kids while the dad begs her to return to work, then as soon as the kids are old enough the wife takes advantage and divorces the dad, completing her final plan! Life happens, people get divorced. If the mother (or father) spent time gone raising kids then they should be co…

Then don’t get married. Or pay a daycare to raise your kids instead of having a trusted partner/kids mother do the heavy lifting in the parenting. Is the “mommy track” not good for the kids in any way? 🙄

If you know her and if she is a girl that is attractive enough to know she is above average attractiveness, say “you have your moments” . If she is average, I’d say “yeah you’re cute”. You want her to know you think she’s cute if she’s less cute or could be insecure about her looks. Or she may shut down the interest assuming you don’t like her. An attractive girl will be intrigued by someone not immediately jumping on how cute she is. Imo (F40, conventionally cute)

Personality matters way more to me than face or body. But often people who feel unattractive come across as insecure which I do find really unappealing. Confidence and a funny, witty, intelligent person is what I find appealing regardless of looks.

A good body can increase an ugly face from a 4 to and 8 or so. But a good body can’t increase a bad personality (insecure, needy, etc). Imo.

The benefits of working our are not just physical. The increased attractiveness can also be felt in terms of confidence and general increase in overall well-being. Women pick up on these things and overall a man who is in good shape and caring about his body, and who also is making progress physically (weight loss, increase in strength, increase in stamina etc) is likely going to project that positive energy they are feeling outwards. (Unless they are in extreme dieting or exercise and are irrit…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
