True. I would classify forced gender roles as negative gender roles. Positive ones, on the other hand, would help society in the long term (and hopefully short term as well). One possible way to do this would be to look at some of the "traditional" gender roles and apply an update to them. Example: Instead of saying, "Men must make all the money and the women must stay home, cook, clean, and take care of the kids.", change it to say, "One parent works all day to pay the bills, and the other pare…

Stuff like this is why I stopped voting Democrat. At this point, I think the "best" thing to do would be to have the Sanders populists and the Trump populists join forces and form a new party. Maybe call it the "American Party". My only advice would be to use the terms "cheap" and "affordable" instead of "free" when talking about stuff like college, healthcare, or whatever.
