sorry, how is this a men's rights issue?

As a woman I would love if there were safe, affordable options for men. The drug system just decided in the 50's that because women make babies, they're the ones we have to temporarily sterilize - and also, my personal opinion, I think there is a lot of fear of permanent sterilization for men and birth control. And rightfully so. Unfortunately, these drugs are years off, and can have very dangerous results if not tested adequately. I think it would be a great thing in use for couples when women …

She's just trying to be an understanding and supportive woman for men. Its not an attack. I want to have diverse discussions which is why I choose to participate here, you are also welcome in XX - without diversity we simply preach to our own choir. I hope you don't take my participation here as trolling or as an attack on your rights - that is not my intention at all.

Good on ya. I'm an MRA because I took many women's studies classes and learned the shocking truth that behind many of the world's poorest people and women with the fewest rights are the men who are forced by their society to be solely responsible for entire families. Denying women human rights makes men suffer too. I'd like to think I'm a human rights activist; that means supporting all the individual groups afflicted by different types of suffering.

Sometimes I'm sad when I see the comments in this reddit. I am a woman, a lover of men, and supporter of human rights. Despite the inequalities between genders, swinging the pendulum back and forth helps no one. Women abusing their upperhand and men abusing their power is equally evil. The world could use a bit more empathy.

really? I am a female, a gender-equality advocate frequently disliked during my women's studies classes for my 'pro-men' stances. This is antiquated thinking attempting to relate two cultures which are miles apart. This isn't pro-men, this is 'anti-women' and speaks to ideology that is more than 50 years old. While the facts of this article may be valid and interesting, they are presented by a person who is attempting to place gender roles back into their pink and blue boxes. This type of thinki…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
