The last time I had casual sex I got pregnant too. He was surprisingly supportive and spent the termination with me. It was still traumatic, I can’t imagine being alone too. I know my outcome is rare which is why I stopped having casual sex.

From my experience with SSDI they don’t hand it out to everyone. You have to be proven without a doubt disabled and unable to work. I wouldn’t be too worried about a fancy attorney being able to persuade a judge you could work when the government agency had determined you ARE disabled. However, I’m sure it is a good idea to have some type of representation. Have you asked your attorney about payment plans, or low cost resources? They may have resources to direct you to.

Today my Mom and Grandma cooked a huge meal for just us 3 plus my kids. Not a single LVM in sight. However, this is only due the fact my mothers “boyfriend” is the lowest of them all. He refused to attend, so she left after cleaning up to take him food and spend the rest of the day with him. Watching her serve this piece of trash has really helped me embrace my single life.

I just quit my job last month. After 13 months my kids needs could no longer be met with me working full time from home. I’m a single mom. I worked my way out of poverty, doubling my income from 2018-now. I can’t stop thinking about how poor we use to be. I don’t want to do that again. I really hope schools reopen as normal in the fall.

I’ve been given A LOT of shit from my own friend a& family for keeping my kids from their dad. He went to jail more than 5 times during the time we were together for DV. He had a job less than 5% of the time we were together. I also couldn’t count on him for daycare, so my kids went to daycare while he slept or played video games all day. I guess I missed the things he has to offer in my kids life. Once I was done and left I then focused on protecting my kids.
