you're an idiot for not doing even a fraction of the research necessary to answer your own questions but then spending hours in this comment thread bitching about a non-issue. the company you're talking about designed a test formulated to detect the most common date rape drugs, including Flunitrazepam (“Roofies”), Alprazolam (Xanax) and Diazepam (Valium), as well as Midazolam (Versed), Oxazepam (Serax), and Temazepam (Restoril) — it can detect as little as 1/4 of the minimum dose at a 99.3% accu…

what's wrong with that lmao? are you saying people who have experienced violence and trauma are insane and irrational for wanting to protect themselves from future violence?

get a flash up skit shot at a restaurant two of my friends have been upskirt photographed by dudes in extremely public places — one in a store at a mall, once on an escalator. both times they freaked out, called the guy out, and absolutely nothing happened. i really don't think it's productive to compare experiences as if one is worse than the other. all of that said, i'm really sorry those things happened to you. it's dehumanizing and awful. i'm also sorry there are so many people in this threa…

Stuff as blatant and obvious as what I listed yes it would near certainly be addressed except i'm telling you that i and many of my friends have had many of those things happen to us, countless times, in public spaces, and we didn't have anyone ~ coming to our aid ~ the way you're speculating. even when you call it out, people tend not to believe you.

this is an awful take. the difference is agency and consent. someone taking a photo of you through your window while you’re in your underwear is non-consensual and violating. you taking a similar photo of yourself and posting is your decision, maintains your agency.

if a hot girl gets groped while out every guy in there will start beating the shit out of the guy this isn’t remotely true, i’m sorry. maybe you’ve seen it happen, but it’s absolutely the exception and not the norm.

It’s def equally bad — not sure why that commenter felt the need to say it’s “many many many times worse” to be an attractive man. each thing he described has happened to me and my girlfriends our whole lives. it’s shitty and dehumanizing and not limited to one gender.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
