| 1 | Another Perspective on the Wage GapThat's probably because you can really only implement it on the levels where it benefits one sex (like labour jobs). Most other jobs are more ambiguous, where things like having a specialized skill set means that you're more valuable than someone else who technically has the same position as you but is used for menial tasks. They'd be outputting more, but you'd be more vital. The entire job/education system would have to be overhauled to place men and women equally in all positions to give women… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 14/04/17 04:10 AM |
| – | Another Perspective on the Wage GapWell, no. It's not a gender-gap based issue. Men are being paid five cents per piece completed. Women are being paid five cents per piece completed. The issue would be people intentionally ignoring the context and claiming that the evidence of a gender gap is in how much they're paid by the hour. Either you pay someone based on their time present at the location or you pay someone based on the amount of work they complete. | 6 | Another Perspective on the Wage GapAgain, if you paid people based on their output, that would still fix that issue because that person would be fired for preventing everyone else from reaching the overall quota. Or, alternatively, you would be paid extra for covering the part that they didn't complete. If you believe going to the bathroom is monitorable enough to reduce wages based on that alone, then output should be monitorable as well. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/04/17 03:37 AM |
| – | Another Perspective on the Wage GapUrinary tract infections are more common in women which can cause frequent urges to urinate. Also, women have smaller bladders than men do. If going to the bathroom too often is a reason to reduce wages, then everyone should be paid based on output rather than time. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/04/17 03:28 AM |
