I thought this sub was supposed to be for debating. It just feels like a circle jerk for misogyny.

I'm actually shook that men feel this way. Is there no compassion? Or are they that hell bent on keeping their power over women? the patriarchy is so internalized that they literally don't even realize that they're doing it.

because you're dismissing and gaslighting me when I'm trying hold men accountable so it makes me think you don't want men to be held accountable.

Sooo..you're saying that because SOME women choose shitty men, that men's shitty behavior should be accepted? It really sounds like you're desperately looking for an excuse to be shitty to women writing it off as "but they like it tho"... I don't understand what you think you have to gain by arguing that some women choose subpar men.

By speaking up for themselves, women are not trying to dismiss men's hardships. We're trying to shed light on the hardships we experience that have been ignored for nearly all of recorded history.

The literal mental gymnastics you had to go through here is unbelievable. You're literally exploiting child rape victims to prove your misogynistic point. You're not actually advocating for boys who get raped. It's awful that boys are sexually abused. The problem is that you're using their abuse to lessen the experiences of women instead of holding the belief that both are truly awful. To speak to your anti-abortion comments, by saying that women have more rights than men because we can have an …

You're literally proving my point here. 1. Where's your proof that all women expect these things. 2. Even if every woman wanted a man like that.. why is that bad? Those all seem like very normal achievements. Many women have a bachelor's degree, their own place and car, etc etc. When women are putting in just as much effort, why would a woman have lower expectations for their partner than they would for themselves??

Y'all realize that we're complex human beings not formulas right? The fact that you haven't "figured out" women yet is just astounding. Maybe y'all should start with asking yourselves what your intentions are with women? Because it doesn't seem like you're trying to form a compassionate understanding relationship. An attitude of entitlement will get you nowhere. You don't just come out the womb automatically entitled to a relationship. If this comment makes you angry, it must resonate with you s…

The question you SHOULD be asking is why are there so many men leaving their children?...why are men abandoning so many women and children?? Do you not see how blaming women instead of holding men accountable is problematic?

This is the most demeaning thing I've ever read... Let me explain why this ACTUALLY happens. Its because societies expectations of guys is literally so low. so many guys out there do the absolute bare minimum that it's the norm so we end up making excuses for y'all because we're conditioned to think guys treating us poorly is normal. We end up blaming ourselves for your shortcoming because women are taught to internalize. When really you're just putting in no actual effort to be kind and compass…
