the first year is definitely the hardest part but it gets way easier once the dust settles and you realize you can finally breathe again. honestly just focus on getting that house settled and don't let the holidays get to you too much. you'll find your rhythm again.

It is basically just a high-stress performance review you never actually get to clock out of. Chasing external validation as a personality trait is a fast track to being miserable even when you finally hit all the benchmarks.
