1	All a woman has to do, in order to ruin a man’s life, is accuse him of rape. Case closed. No evidence is required. It’s up to the man to defend the accusation. The woman needs no evidence. In every other part of the law it’s the accuser who is required to present evidence before a case can be made. Also I think the purpose of your mother teaching that was more so the "shout fire if you're in danger" thing rather than to abuse power; although I agree this is NOT something she should've taught in the first place. For every heinous crime being accused of it (even without evidence) will always taint your reputation, I follow a lot of mens rights activism but a lot of it is not rooted in common sense. Although I do realise this is more of a hot topic recently, it's definitely not down to "women having the power." If anything it's a society wide judgement that getting tied up in such legal issues makes the accused somewhat untrustworthy, even if never proven guilty. This judgement is held by men too.
