To ease her cognitive dissonance, she elevates pregnancy to the category of "bodily autonomy" but relegates every other conscious parental action to some less important realm. 19	Suggesting that biological differences between the sexes could make one sex, on average, superior to the other in specific ways is perfectly fine only if women are on the winning side. Quite a bit of evidence shows that men have a wider distribution of intelligence than women. If true, this cuts both ways. Yes, we would expect men to dominate the fields of study that require a high IQ, but we would also expect men to outnumber women in activities for which a low IQ is a strong predicting factor, like crime and violence.
