They also curbed men. And there was a reason for both.

I never wrote that anything bringing happiness is bad. I'm merely stating that happiness set as the primary driver of social ideal -which it is today might very well be a nefarious force. It's not because it's natural, that it's a constructive force (of yourself or society) , it's not because it makes you happy that it doesn't destroy you (and society).

What if what makes women happy is damaging to civilisations ? What if the constraints that traditional societies had put on men and women, that were limiting their capacity to do whatever the fuck they wanted, was in fact an act of civilisation as our animal-nature interfere dangerously with civilisation process ? Happiness is overrated.

How many people does that concern ? 1% of the working population ? You are finding particular cases to justify generalised upside down system of values. No, your phone isn't more private than your genitals. That's the general rule.

I disagree. The only limit case I can imagine is gorvernemental workers who have access to sensitive State level confidential data, etc. But in most of those case they have special phones handed to them by special agency, distinguished from their private phone and secured by State agencies. I disagree most of the other examples. If a lawyer doesn't trust his wife to not browse private cases of other people, then he has a relationship problem.

The way you describe it and phrase it sounds worrisome. 1. Cheating isn't a "little deal and that you will manage to get over it". It's an incredibly destructive knowledge, reshaping everything one has believed and felt about a situation and someone. In term of trust, it will never be the same again. 2. You seem to be very infatuated of him, which is a good thing. But it doesn't seem reciprocal ( ie. a relationship "not as bad as it could be" - what kind of loveless description is that ?). 3. A …

You are wrong, women are initiating around 70% of divorces. This simple statistic is sufficient to disprove your "men too" argument. And the studies are solid and published. I invite you to do your research.

Women who have had more sexual partners are : 1. Divorcing more frequently 2. Divorcing earlier 3. Enter into more relationships on average 4. Relationships are usually shorter term 5. Are usually less happier The relationship between premarital sex and divorce is highly significant and robust. Compared to people with no premarital partners other than eventual spouses, those with six or more partners exhibit the highest divorce risk.

A few hints : Redirect your sexual energy (lot of sport, creative activities, etc. Note : some sport increase libido but a lot of sport actually decrease libido) Meditate and / or pray or try mindfulness Do it yourself to release the excess of tension Be mindful to not put yourself into tempting situations (movies, men doing sports, running topless, whatever) Set a full schedule of your day to distract yourself Keep the consequences of casual sex in mind all the time Find people /community who w…

You don't guide him, you inspire him and you request from him. Phrasing of requests is very important. Whether or not he takes on the inspiration and build on it (for example sexuality, if you want a specific kind of sex, there are hundred of non-verbal ways you can inspire him) is really up to him. Inspiration isn't manipulation, it's awakening. Requesting isn't ordering, it's acknowledging his authority. It puts him in a position of authority to please you.

Approaching men requires a confidence that you probably don't have. The first step would be to let them approach you. But I wouldn't start with dating or men at all, if I were you. I would start with girls. You need to make friends and select them (for their traditional values, mindset, influences, etc.). Also stop being so anxious about your beauty. You are virgin, you have traditional values, you already know and read this sub and books. You are ahead of maybe 90% of women. My advice ? You nee…

I'm a salsa porto (mambo) and tango dancer. Dancing is sensual, regardless of what people pretend it to be. The first tip you are going to learn from tango, for example, is to listen to the guidance of the lead by feeling the lead of his hips through your hips. Salsa is a lot about trusting, submiting, listening to guidance. But here it's not about dancing, it's about going to a social activity linked to dating (most men go to dance for the "possibility") and sensuality inside the frame of a dam…

How is dancing with other men going to connect her to herself ? I generally don't agree with that idea. It is based on the idea that there is a very strong "onself". I prefer to think that we "create" ourselves by choosing and adapting, pursuing goals and dreams, etc. At some point of a relationship, when the natural flow disappear, to connect with someone, you need to make it a conscious work, create the condition of connection (inspiring, surrendering, inputing ardor, joy, smile, etc., etc).

I find his answer quite superficial. He probably hasn't figured out yet what is the most valuable in women. You have to inspire him on that by become this figure of the feminine woman you can be (and that should inspire him in his masculine). When he will see it, he will see more of your worth, unconsciously, and the bond will be made stronger.

I agree. The way OP is talking about her husband is worrisome. Read that long message. You have a long way to go too (your husband too probably) on personal work if you want your relationship to thrive

I'm not sure if advising her to go dance with other men while her relationship is failing is a very sound advice. I would say the opposite, do thing together, without the kids, that reconnect both of you. Inspiring him for sex, inspire him for dancing, make the effort to reawaken your feminity and give it to him.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
