The Christian Cross is seen as hope specifically because people believe God is watching over them, especially when they're using it as symbolism following a tragedy. I don't understand your Christmas point...you basically confirmed mine though. The nativity scene is not JUST a Christmas decoration. It's a display that says to the viewer, "this season is about the birth of Jesus Christ our lord and savior. Here's what we think that birth looked like."

Why are you acting like those religious symbols mean anything but religious things? The cross is at ground zero because whoever put it there perceives us to be a Christian nation protected by God. The nativity scene is there because Christmas time is apparently about the birth of Jesus, not solely because it's Christmas.

I was ordered to pay many tens of thousands of dollhairs to a woman I never had kids or shared a home with simply because I made more.

Later in life, as an adult serving in the military and going through a divorce, I had to pay "alimony" to a grown man despite the fact that we had no children together solely because I had a higher income. This really reinforced to me just how screwed up the justice system is. I got married and left for the military to an overseas base. Our marriage started falling apart immediately due to a bunch of shit she was up to. I won't get into it for the sake of not being identified. Anyway, I was orde…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
