Sorry u/lozboss, I know that is the definition, but it never clicked with me. I still have this "hopeless romantic" thing where I hate doing stuff alone. It's probably remanents of my old relationship, but this aspect of it made the most sense for me. Even in that relationship, I saw plenty of beautiful women, but I didn't think they were options. I've got a decent amount of pudge, but my arms are getting sculpted in. At 190, my chest pudge, ab pudge, and lower back pudge should be gone. For fitness, I usually use the mile time. I honestly thought this was a really modest/humble FR. I wrote it to have a record for 1 year from when I started, then 2 years, so on till I catch up to GayLubeOil. Interestingly enough, the ones I have told I had a date planned conflicting with plans that they tried to set up makes most of them chase you more. They see it as validation. "If this dude is dating girls, then he must be a high demand item." The guy who has too much time and not enough dates is seen as less desirable. Thank you very much! I appreciate the support! More than hitting the gym hard, I found what worked for me was diet. I went 2 months on Keto and lost a shit ton of fat. Keto honestly is the lifestlye to go if you're fine with being lean. But in order to get that bulging chest and arms, you need carbs. I switched to carb cycling now. The weight is coming off still, but slower. I feel better though and not like I want to die in my bed of hunger each night.

It's a bad habit I picked up from college. On the weekends I sleep 8 hours. I think it's my mind racing during the week. I work in a very academically competitive environment (my lab collaborates with Harvard Med school a lot), and the love of the work doesn't help. I'm getting by for now, but definitely need to get that up to 7-8 hours. You'd be surprised how much that extra 1 or 2 hours sleep can do.

I agree with the risks, but that's just one "beta" thing I can't get rid of. I don't see another way I could raise kids... my future career is going to be very demanding, and I feel like I would not be around for the kids as much being a single dad.
