| 1 | Lifting heavy bulk vs cut vs maintenance? If you are trying to cut up, reduce your caloric intake, do HIIT training, and try to maintain 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. A good HIIT routine is 21 day Metashred from BJ Gaddour of Men's Health. You will not be looking to get stronger here but instead focused on cutting up. It is pretty difficult to bulk up and cut up at the same time, since one requires surplus calories and the other requires a deficit. | /r/askTRP | 01/05/17 07:55 PM |
| 1 | Exam session nowadays so I'm not lifting. What diet should I follow to stay lean and lose some fat? Would a keto diet work?Wow. I live on Chicken Breast , protein bars, nuts, and Greek yogurt 5 says a week. Never had that problem before. Almost sounds like you have food allergies | /r/askTRP | 05/04/17 07:26 PM |
| 1 | Exam session nowadays so I'm not lifting. What diet should I follow to stay lean and lose some fat? Would a keto diet work?Keto diets are risky and will backfire if not done correctly... Stick to a high protein High fiber diet and you shoul be OK.......I get about 200 grams of protein a day and I am 5"10 , 165 pounds with about 13 percent body fat. ( not bad as I am 48 years old)Keto diets do work but they are a total pain in the ass...It also sounds like you need to bulk up a little and not cut up.... | /r/askTRP | 05/04/17 06:40 PM |
| 1 | Did a stupid yolobulk, gained a bunch of fat and hid any muscle. Want to cut that excess fat then continue with a healthy bulk. Best course of action?Try 21 day metashred....I use it to cut up....Cut your calories and maintain high protein intake and you shouldn't lose any muscle | /r/askTRP | 05/04/17 05:40 PM |
