🙋‍♀️ I am focusing more on nurturing and growing my business and skill set - be it getting better at teaching, art, expressing myself and surround myself with more women and men, not just girls and boys now. I am blessed to have some really endearing and high quality women and men around me, so I do not miss my ex at all, but this decade, for all of us, of the decade of growth. I am grateful for that. My therapist on the other hand has encouraged me to have an open mind wrt the guys I meet, be…

My ex slept with me because he wanted to lose his virginity to another virgin with whom he felt comfortable. And after the deed was done, he threw his hands up when I questioned his emotional availability. In his own words, "I have done it now, so I don't care." In the end, I guess he never really was mature enough for a serious relationship (he admitted), but he did want to know what it is like to indulge in a physical relationship. He couldn't even communicate clearly that he just wanted an Fw…

Broke up with my BF of 1.5 years. We were friends before that for 1.5 years. About time.

Hey girl! I love skirts, but I don't really like the attention that comes with it. I wear tights that cover few inches below my knees, that way I get to flaunt my skirt (irrespective of the length) and keep the staring eyes away. I wear skirts when I go for groceries as well as when I am out riding on a two wheeler to a friend's place or wherever.

I wouldn't say he got defensive when I tried to confront my guy, but he basically put it like this: >See, if my parents think of you as an asset and someone who can just be a part of this family, then yes, we will be tying the knot, if not then it's a no. Things are not ideal, but it is not in my hands. Either way, you wouldn't be damaged or distressed if this relationship ends because from my side, I am trying to be a good influence than a bad and bitter one. As much as I appreciated his honest…

Are you me? Haha Thank you for this thread! I have been wondering about this as well!! I’m in the same boat as you. He’s the guy I lost my virginity to, while turning down a couple because we weren't compatible. With him, I feel safe, but I worry going overboard and putting him in a place where he isn’t comfortable.

Looks like I am where you were at 23. I’m dating someone (I’m 23, he’s 27 ; we have been friends for two years) who encouraged me to be more of a woman and less of a woman-man (wamen man as he calls it). Thank you for sharing this. I only got to know about this subreddit in the last two months or so, but me and my man have both been following TRP without even knowing about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
