Maybe a lot of people are realizing you can't just spend you're 20s and 30s partying, keep going to school for worthless graduate degrees, jobhopping every year or two, backpacking the world to find yourself, etc., instead of looking for a quality mate to build a life with, and then as a fallback plan you'll just be able to suddenly find a unicorn on one of these crappy dating apps once you start getting close to 40 years old. I think this applies for both sexes, straight and gay.

This is so true. In my experience the good looking, fit, not crazy, professional women with good jobs are the ones who are most likely to be set up on dates and introduced to decent guys by their social circle. Nobody is setting up the ugly, unpopular girls (or guys), even though they could use it the most. Just another reason dating is a losing game for a lot of people.

I'm in my mid 40's living in one of the largest cities in the U.S. In my experience, almost none of the decent looking women (meaning not fat basically) that I've known through work or church or co-ed sports leagues, etc. over the years have met their husbands or longterm boyfriends through online dating. And then if they break up or get divorced from one guy, they usually already have another guy lined up ready to go to take the previous guy's place. Again, not somebody they met online, either.…

Yes. I'm 45 and It's sad to me to see so many adults I know who never developed a wide variety of interests and who only talk about politics (really they are only parroting what they heard someone else say on tv) because that is what is on tv and they don't have any hobbies or things they are passionate about doing. A lot of adults in the U.S. my age still like to spend all day arguing about sports teams, too, and will start fights with total strangers over it. I don't get that, either.

We had a zoom call for work the other day and some of the women didn't have any makeup on and hadn't done their hair. They looked 15 years older!

Yes! There's another song from 1982 about those types of stations titled "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo. MTV used to play the video all the time.

The initial comment is very true in my experience but when I was bluepilled and didn't think about hypergamy and such I couldn't understand why women thought this way. I was like what does it matter how many friends you have because once they're married and have kids most couples here in the U.S. spend almost all their time on weekends hanging out with just each other, their kids, and the grandparents, not still going on pub crawls in large groups like when they're single. Well, some of the slut…

Interesting point. I've noticed in my field that what constitutes a good job environment for women is different than it is for men. The women are mostly looking for a place where the bosses are their friends and not too hard on them and where they have a lot of other women they can talk to. The men want a place where they can make more money and have room for advancement.

I agree with everything on this thread but another reason I can think of is a lot of women no matter how old they are aren't savers or investors and don't worry about preparing for retirement or anything like that. They'll just run up their credit card bills or deplete their bank accounts to travel with their girlfriends or solo if they don't have a guy to pay for it. Another thing is the herd mentality that women have. All their friends and relatives are traveling overseas, studying abroad, tea…

They're used to telling their husbands and kids what to do at home and they bring that same attitude to the workplace.

If you work with mostly girls it's ok to not hang out with them. Usually they mostly want to just hang out with the other girls in the office anyway unless you're the top looking guy in the office. My office has mostly been girls for years so I usually only go to our annual holiday party and that's about it for social stuff. But I receive good performance reviews so it's not an issue that I don't hang out with other people in the office.

I work in a law firm in a major U.S. city so we have a lot of women who are secretaries with little education past high school and also numerous women lawyers with their graduate degrees. On the whole, the women with less education exhibit the negative female traits that I see discussed on here a lot: lack of responsibility, lack of dedication, never work any extra hours, never volunteer to help others, look out for themselves only, start the most meaningless gossip and drama, etc. The female la…

I live in Chicago and most attractive and outgoing professional women here have huge social networks and meet guys that way. If one of them isn't in a relationship then their friends will also work to set them up with other professional guys from their network.

Not intolerable but less of a priority for me to watch. Now I would rather get fresh air and participate by hiking, cycling, even just reading a book at the beach on a nice day than sit inside a bar and spend a lot of time and money watching a game. Part of it is that I'm now 44 years old, so almost every pro athlete is younger than me now. So getting in arguments with fans of other teams or spending hundreds of dollars to go to games involving guys 20 or 25 years younger than I am seems pointle…

Its gotten to the point on dating websites where a lot of young women are actually offended that you ask to meet them in person. Funny.

Yes, Tinder is very strange. You have all these types of younger girls hitting up older guys for cash because apparently they think all of us 40 something year old guys are rich but got that way by just giving our money away And then the women my age have all these lengthy, super serious profiles with long lists of demands for men like they are on eharmony or something.

I tried Tinder myself for a few weeks. One girl's first message to me was asking if I would send her 10,000 dollars.

Can confirm all of this. Not any better in the suburbs either. Was taking the Metra (commuter train) home from work the other day and these two 50 year oldish looking women slammed a whole six pack of Budweiser on a 40 minute train ride and every third word was an f bomb.

Yeah I get it now. Good looking college girls are still really dating/hooking up with the same jocks, frat boys, guys in bands, guys from rich families, tyrones, etc. that are their age like they always did. This is just a new way to get extra money and attention from guys with minimal effort on their part.

Obviously lives in my hometown of Chicago. Stereotypical entitled girl who lives here. Such a cliché. Grew up in smalltown Midwest. Moved here at 22 after graduating from a Big Ten University and now thinks shes hot stuff. Works in advertising, pr, hr, Communications, etc. Will ride the carousel until her early 30s then marry some simp and move to Naperville.
