As you pointed out we know very little about the brain and how it works never mind how having an x chromosome instead of a y can make you find rich men more sexually attractive than poorer men. I'm just saying we don't know for sure that is hard wired in women's brains to be attracted to men with wealth until you can show me the genes that give rise to the brain structure that make women behave that way. How can genes code a behavior? Genes don't know what money is or what what a good job is. You can't just say "they must, they must!" It has to be properly explained and demonstrated on a causal level down to genes before it can be taken more seriously than a plausible sounding idea.

so you are saying it's genetically programmed in them to be attracted to men with money? Can you explain how that could be? I accept evolution and gender differences being important to evolution but I've never heard a good scientific explanation for how a behavioral tendency can be pre-programmed in by genes.

Actually I disagree, growing up it was other guys who were saying man up and judging you for your masculinity much more than women. I think here on MR we are overly sensitive to when women do it but actually it's much more of a male thing. I'm not blaming all men, it probably comes naturally to them and exists in all cultures. I do think though that feminists (who tend to be women) utterly fail to address mens issues like some claimed they are and that's why we need a mens own movement.

There is a difference between what should be the case and what is actually the case. Of course women should be allowed to to walk the streets at night with barely anything on but she SHOULDN'T in the real world. I'm no expert on the history of south africa but he does seem to say just there that he approved of an armed struggle. Maybe his intention was not to harm innocent people but the authorities. Personally I still think that is wrong but again I wasn't there and am not knowledgeable enough about the situation at the time. We do know for a fact though the ANC was a pretty horrible organization to start off with and mandela's wife was awful human being who you can read about.

maybe they are but feminism has it's own theories on gender that pretend they know there is nothing more biologically to gender than sexual organs. Feminism actually has a track record of being anti science when it doesn't fit with their theories. Mens rights doesn't have theories and we don't pretend to know stuff with no actual evidence. We are quite simple, we just want men to be treated fairly and not hypocritically by society.

Yes he approved the terrorist acts from his prison cell, that still makes him a terrorist. Hitler didn't personally kill jews but he gave the orders to. Another quote I found... It's very good to be skeptical but I know what you mean, they aren't really being skeptical, they are writing off anything that doesn't fit with their own preconceived ideas about gender which they got from feminism. Science isn't about what's PC or about the way we would like things to be, it's about the truth itself. We should be skeptical about everything, I don't see anything that is off limits.

I think it's because of the differences in our brains. Male brains are probably more equipped to problem solve and apply intellect to the outside world of stuff. Women's brains are more designed to be process social relationships and emotions. That's just my opinion because I really don't think nurture can explain the massive difference in inventions or discoveries between men and women. That doesn't mean men are better, it's just our brains are different.

I agree ignoring is the best tactic but at the same time I want to make people understand it's a terribly sexist and cheap thing to say. I think feminists have done a good job of pointing out the sexist language against women people can use but "man up" isn't quite there yet as taboo to say.

I agree with you. We should have basic respect for one another as individuals and try to see each others problems in the context of the individual we are talking to. Too many people arrogantly take how they see reality as the way it should be for everybody. "Man up" is way of bypassing having empathy for the individual and shaming them for not acting like their gender is "supposed" to.
