There is no way 40% of marriages is a majority, you need >50% to have a majority. 60% of that 40% demographic is only 24% of the total amount of people that marry... So there is a 50-60% chance that my first marriage will work just fine. Which is the actual majority here. If you're doing 3+ marriages there is a good chance it's your own fault. Once again a majority is >50%, which none of the statistics ever reach. Does someone need to go back to highschool?

Its common knowledge that men in marriages are miserable. Not true at all. I know many happy men with families and wives. Its even a running mainstream joke. That doesn't make it an absolute truth. And some men still want to do it.. Yeah, we do. Because you know what? It works for a lot of people.

it would be 60%...if you had sex twice (again with an HIV partner) wouldn't your chances of being protected fall to 36% for the two events? The events are disjoint, one does not lower the odds of the other. It's a flat 60% each time.
