2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtI totally agree that the blue book is going to be very difficult for most people to read, simply because people can't read. However, have you visited the SL website? The SL guide is also intimidating, and is much longer than this SS intro: https://startingstrength.com/get-started/programs Unfortunately, SL is not a well-designed program. I struggled with understanding the reasoning behind the programming when I ran my linear prog. Going from 5x5->3x5->3x3->1x3 is confusing for two reasons: first… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 11/01/18 01:38 AM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtOP, as you can see, the fools on this sub can't counter a single simple argument for why SL is bullshit. They think their ad-hominem attacks and crossfit bashing are legit. Read the blue book, go SS immediately. Drive your volume UP as you go, especially upper body. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 10/01/18 06:19 PM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtQ: Does SS also have an app? A: Yes. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 10/01/18 05:28 PM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtNone of this is a counterargument to the point that SL doesn't make any sense as a beginner program (or as a program, for that matter). Starting at 3x5 for three exercises is easier than 5x5, or am I missing something? Also, if we're giving out advice here, I recommend that if you completely fuck up by making a stupid assumption then you might as well just apologize. This thread makes you look like an idiot. You're a moderator though, why not just spez the whole thing? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 09/01/18 02:50 AM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtYou're talking to a nationally ranked USAPL lifter. 4@90% works for upper novices at 6-12 months. I personally ran 2@95% on my novice taper, but I was doing way more accessories than SL recommends. Maybe it's too much? Okay run 4@85%. I'm assuming OP isn't stupid. Have you actually read the stronglifts program? the recommendation is 5x5->3x5->3x3, etc. Tapering volume as experience goes up is stupid. Volume has to be driven up as you go to intermediacy, not down. Running a top set @ww then switc… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 09/01/18 12:19 AM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtMan, I have to say I have no idea how you linked my post to Crossfit. Sensei, can you teach me your mental gymnastics style? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 08/01/18 05:26 AM
2 Months in But Appearing ButthurtStronglifts doesn't make any goddamn sense. Why would you DECREASE volume as time goes on? Run SS for a 3-6 months then taper to one heavy working set followed by 4 sets of 5 @90%. Then switch to a lower level intermediate program. Or do literally anything besides Stronglifts lol. That guy is small af. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/01/18 11:14 PM
6 Months of Owning My Shit: A RetrospectiveTake it for what it's worth but you are incredibly weak (especially squat and bench) for someone of your height and weight and claimed physical activity. I would give some serious thought to what exactly you are doing in the gym. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 12/12/17 11:32 PM

6 blue pilled behaviors, disguised as red pilled, that trap men in blue pilled beta purgatory.Calisthenics people: girls do not fucking care how many chin-ups you can do. They only care if it looks like you can pick up their boyfriend and break him in half. Don't be a fool. Go to school. Unless it doesn't have a gym. Then go to the gym. | /r/TheRedPill | 28/11/17 01:45 AM

Why your wife should work at a real jobIt's not as though there are "some studies" that correlate daycare use and behavioral problems. Since the early 2000s we have known how much daycare fucks up your kids. http://www.nationalobserver.net/2003_summer_115.htm I think OP's children should make a post. Let's hear from them about how great it is that they get to go to daycare. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 15/08/17 01:57 AM
